MULTI-DIMENSIONAL ATTACK : When a character takes damage from Extant's attack, all other characters on the map with the exact same name take an equal amount of damage.
Bwahahaha!!!
I could only imagine....
Just hope you don't have a bunch of Madri on their last click, or you'd lose half your figs in one attack!
Madrox's SP seems a lot like any other of the game mechanics that require special pieces to be brought along: When you remember to bring them, you'll rarely (if ever) get to use them.
It's like when I played a T-Bolts team with the AE Norman Osborn. I brought along Iron Patriot and Green Goblin. Did I get to use them? No.
When I played the varying characters in WoS, in the rare occasions I brought the Web Tokens along. Did I get to use them? Nope.
So based on past experiences, I'd rather have a lot of Madroxes built onto the team normally, than play a few and hope I can get more.

Does that damage given to others count as damage from an attack? Because if it does, and you don't kill the Madrox...you could end up with a whole lotta Madri.
This figure is cool for what is is, but don't forget that each Maxdrox you spawn is potentially more points for your opponent to get, too. You spit out 15 extra dudes, thinking you're too cool for school, and then have them all slaughtered, where are ya then? Behind in points.
The X-Men healing power wouldnt trigger his trait. Its from an opposing attack.
I don't think anyone was saying that it would. I think the X-men TA was referencing the fact that 1 would take damage and split into 2, and then 2 would heal 1 and it could start all over again, thus further complicating the math involved.
Though someone did mention Probability Control, which I don't think would work. Your opponent attacks you on his turn, you could not reroll to get that 5 or 6 on your die when it is the opponent's turn.
My H/W link does not reflect the wants for my collection, it is a list of figures that I already have, but still "want" to play.

Yeah, for the exact same reason you can't reroll super senses and impervious (except in rare cases where you splash damage your own figure, etc)
The best part would be someone trying to whipe them with EE only to see how the 5 Madrox multiplies individualy after receiving damage... And having enough Madrox at 3rd clix with outwit or 2nd with perplex could be brutal.
I think that the named Jamie Madrox BuBTB is going to be a unique with better powers to make the rest more awesome, but that you can't put more than one on the field (if Jaime dies or he isn't on your team, then you can produce another one with a Madrox figure, but no more than one, this could be cool to represent Madrox prime, and to not make you buy a lot of BiBTB figures!)
It will be interesting to see how the BIBTB Jamie Madrox fits into the grand scheme of this. I wonder if he'll have a more abusive duplication power...
Because I have been there where I had last man standing and lost because of the capture ability.
Ah, capture! Here's hoping the new Sentinels roll like that, so's I can relive the glory days of walking off the field with your X-Men or Brotherhood, turning 300 points into 900!
Go ahead, keep duping Madri. Gives my giant robot something to do besides collect dust.
I won't look at your dial-on-card, I don't look at my own, and you don't need to see my DOC, ever. Otherwise, we're not playing HeroClix.
