Just to further clarify: played the Doo Patrl the other night. Elongated Man has PC showing. Robot Man fails on an attack. EM PCs the roll. The attack fails again. I can then use a Theme Team PC with the Chief who has clear line of fire?

You certainly can.

So wait, if I have 3 aim, and one xmen on the squad. Would i be able to use a Theme Prob between the aim agents? And would the 3 aim agent ad to my roll on map choice?

Only if all 4 shared some kind of keyword (scientist maybe?)... you would definitely NOT have an AIM theme team, though.
What is the formula for determining the amount of characters on a theme team? I asked this once before but I am not sure the answer given was correct.
300 points generic is ?
300 point named is?
Same as before: 2 for named (or 1 for every 150) and 3 for generic (or 1 for every 100).
Where it is a little different is scaling up is now done in increments of 300. So a 400 point team has the same requirements as a 600 point team (4 and 6 characters, respectively).

This can all be found on page 21 of the rulebook.
Okay so "fraction thereof" means that a 400 point game rounds up to 600 for theme team requirements? And that is why 400 and 600 have the same amount of characters required to be considered theme?

If this is right, then I've got it now.
This is right.
(and a link to Uberman's chart, because it makes things easier)
I guess this thread proves just how much easier the new theme team rules are to understand. I'm so glad wizkids simplified them.
I think there were just as many thread about this before the 2011 rules, too. While I agree that they didn't get simpler, they didn't get more complicated either.
