I was over looking at the Gabe Jones preview from the Avengers Movie set. A pretty useful, 45 pt Soldier piece with a grenade SP -- not the one we've seen in some other clix games, but, still, a 5-range, 2-damage effect covering 9 squares that he should be able to use even if based, since it's not reading like a ranged combat attack. Stealth and Willpower for the first three clicks (along with the grenades), then two of Running Shot, ES/D and Support. If he's mourning Cap's seeming death he's even better thanks to a Trait. A pretty good package for the points.

Finally found the new thread. Whew.......for a minute there it seemed that everyone ditched me.

Get this.....

I have not played in a clix tourney in about two months. The problem is I work in a comic shop and can not seem to get my schedule to synch up with the clix tourneys so I end up working/watching the games being played. I finally get the schedule to work and our judge asked me if I could judge on the one day that I was going to be able to play in the tourney. I was in one of those positions where I could not say no. So now I have to hope that there is an odd number of players that show up so I can get some games in during the bye.

Not a real problem just a rant that I could not vent until now.

Ahhh! an Easy Company version of Gabe Jones. Too bad a movie version of Nick Fury means he has to look like Samuel L. Jackson.

Look at it this way, OR: of all who pass through those doors, many undoubtedly fantasize about having your job while few, if any, think it sux to be you.

I was one of those people for a very long time until I was handed the position. That feeling wore off very quickly. There is nothing that destroys that feeling faster than MtG followers that will spend hours talking to you about their decks, or the seemingly infinite number of spoilers talking to you about what is going to happen in a comic three weeks from now.

Let us not forget slow dancing!
