I'm with Renard in that I was hoping for a Kang The Conqueror that's at least as many points as Veteran Kang from the Supernova Set. To me he'll always be my favorite Avengers Villian and Kurt Busiek's Avengers: Forever with that sweet Carlos Pacheco art was an amazing storyline. For me, Kang needs 2 Lightning Bolts, opening clicks of Psychic Blast and he'd be perfect. Still an amazing piece as is and his Trait and SP are DEVASTATING.

Tell me if I'm wrong. CW038 Thor charges in for 6 damage with an object. Hercules charges in next to him for 6 more damage with an object. Kang removes their action tokens, allowing them to merge into Thorcules, which is a completely different character and can duo attack, totaling four attacks with two characters (three if you count kang). Awesome strategy or is there a hole in this plan?

Reason: Left something out.
One thing i havent seen mentioned in this thread yet is starting as Doom and Kang, immediately split into kang and FF doom (151 and 139),play kang out getting some hits, play doom back. Kang gets hurt, run doom out to kang, use timeline reset to remove all tokens, free action merge into the duo at full health.

Timeline reset would only remove the token from Doom, not Kang, since he is being given the power action to use the SP, so they'd be sitting ducks for a turn.
When will we get a Carrion, Shriek and Demogoblin so I can run a true Maximum Carnage team?
I would disagree. It states " Remove action tokens from ALL friendly characters..." Kang is considered a friendly character, yes?
What he was trying to imply was that, through the order of events, Kang ends up with an action token afterwards. For example: Kang uses SP, all action tokens are removed, give kang an action token (Because tokens are placed after jazz resolves)

It looks like if you pushed him to do it, there would only be one token on Kang afterwards, though. Kang attacks, everybody else does something, next turn push Kang, everybody does something, next turn you can still push Kang and everybody else. Pretty boss.
Looking for one really badly! Btw probably one of the best super rares in the set. Those high attack values is probably what cost him multiple targets.
This is a fantastic piece and easily one of my go-to pieces when I am unsure of what to play. I have several different teams built around him at 300. All of them are highly effective and utilize his MoE TA to the fullest. With Kang, you can attack every turn, and heal him up with Donald Blake as needed. His high AV plus his PC for his attacks combined with solid damage and range ensure he punches through your opponent's line. Being able to do so every turn is certainly helpful for winning games.

See, I'm not so sure about this. Friendly characters seems to clearly denote every character besides Kang. Otherwise, wouldn't the power state "Remove all tokens from characters on your force" or something to that effect? Is Kang friendly to himself?
Most powers, by implication, seem to specify whether a power affects other characters on your team or the character using the action. So, Timeline Reset seems to address all other characters besides the user of the action.
Meaning, when Kang uses TR, he takes an action. All other characters get to remove theirs.
I think Kang is considered friendly to himself. In every other game I have played that uses the word "friendly" within the text of its powers/cards/whatever, friendly includes the character/player using the effect unless some qualifier such as "another" is used. I know there was a WoW TCG pet that randomly killed "another friendly hero or ally" when it came into play, that a player used in his warlock deck all the time until he realized that it killed his hero if he had no other allies in play. That's just my experience, from about 15+ years gaming.
