sending stores an actual batmobile would be wicked awesome. I'd love to touch one and see one in person. It might actually get me to pre-order something for the set, if I had the money, and the pre-order date isn't too far away or already behind us.
They did give a Batmobile and Utility Belt to the retailers at the Alliance show, and my guys have been oohing and aahing over them ever since.
Superman is EXTREMELY overcosted and weak, Wonderwoman is an interesting piece but overcosted for the abilities and power placement, Batman's dial is too short (5 clicks? Really?) and his combat values are too low. Give me an 11 or a 10AV any day over a stupid special that lets you hit on doubles that you're going to roll maybe once every three games that this will actually matter. Overall, this team pack has really cool sculpts, but the dials are a bust for me.
FLE's Stark Industries -Movie-
HCFL's Thunderbolts: Marvel's Most Wanted!
RPSC's M: Astonishing X-Men
DC: Deathstroke and the Secret Society of Superheroes
Superman is over cost unless there is a trait that was factored in or unless he was suppose to be Indom. Either of those, and iffy on the trait, would make a difference for the price.
Wonder Woman is bloated by a full dial of Incap, which is still a very expensive power.
Bats is good but lacking mobility and damage, one light tap and he's pretty much out.
Add to the fact that they can't be use as theme, 397, make it a bust for me.
The sculpts look great, and I have loved the sculpts since Superman for DC. These dials though all seem just a bit off.

Bats has the improved movement Hindering and Elevated Terrain, he has Willpower AND outwit to start, he's also only 76 Points, yes no "move and attack" but he can use that outwit and get based to put some hurt down with 3 damage up front.
WW seems good for the 125 point cost.
Superman is just "eh" not to many great Superman have come out lately since Allstart hit the streets.
The Superman trait reads:
anyone playing against Grant Morrison or Geoff Johns automatically loses because they will just reboot the game with an overly complex explanation that forces their opponent to say, "So... Wolverine and the X-Men comes out in a few months, right?"
oh yes... I went there.
Just got back into the game after a 3-year hiatus. Things are looking fun. Can't wait for the Mighty Thor set to release.
all three clocking in at 397 togther. Makes me think there might be a Trinity triple duo finally coming at around 400points. After Avengers Prime we knew it would come out eventually.
oh hey, beautiful sculpted sword-wielding wonderwoman. would have preferred to see that sword represented in dial with bcf instead of cce. those 2dv clicks are weak.
So, this team comes out to 397. I'm surprised they didn't get the Trinity keyword (and an ATA to go with them at 1 point per figure)
I wonder if they are going to do an Avengers Prime sort of thing with these guys. If they are, and it's 300/400 points, I can see some people being upset by that (why not make them an even 400 so it's an even split/merge either way)
With Avengers Prime, you have the Tab App figures that are perfect for them to split in to/merge from.
For Superman, I almost wonder if his intended trait hadn't been some sort of defend, maybe an alternate to WW ranged defend, his would have been for close combat attacks, or, just give him Super Strength and leave his attack slot open. Probably had to cut it to bring down the points to within the 400 range.
If these turds are one of the possibilities I guess I'll be skipping team packs in SoG....
I don't know if I'd be that hard on this team pack, but damned close! I agree with the earlier post that Batman is the best clix out of this team pack, Wonder Woman is intriguing and Superman just blows.
Now, if we get an Outsiders, JSA (please, please, please...) or JLI team packs, then my interest may return. But otherwise, I have to agree with you. I'll be skipping team packs.
Hell, except for 2 or 3 figs I'm pretty much passing on Batman anyways.
