Can i just give a power action to absorb or is need to be a power with a power action, example charge

Set three objects together and just change one of them.

It looks like it activates off any power action, so you could activate Charge while adjacent to the object(s) to absorb them. Keep in mind that you don't need to make an attack to use Charge.

What if he is adjacent to two heavy objects? Or two light objects? Why can't he absorb those both? What if he absorbed the Tank Turret? Would that only count as a heavy?

He could absorb those combinations as well. Ultra heavy objects are heavy objects with some additional rules, so the Tank Turret would count as a heavy.

He could absorb 2 heavy objects, the only reason that everyone always mentions a light and a heavy is that they give him +3 to attack and damage. 2 heavy objects would give him +4 but because of the rule of 3 that would be +3 as well.

Actually, absorbing two heavies would give him just +2 and absorbing two lights would give him only +1. The power does not check how many objects are on the card, just that there are some.
