Nice move destroying that blocking terrain. Didn't see that attack coming at all. Pretty devastating to my team.
Theme PC obeys the range rule of the character, didn't know that either. I'll be taking my turn tomorrow.
Yeah, I almost missed it too. It's easy to forget Black Scorpion's range of 4 because it's so rarely used (Hey, it's easy to forget that Scorpion can actually do anything useful! ).
And yeah, Theme PC follows the same (new) rules about PC (and outwit and perplex) that it's tied to the range value of the character using it, with a minimum range of 6. So on your present team, Crystal can use it with an effective range of 7, while everyone else has a range of 6 (note that this is also the range of Reed and T'chala's outwit).

I just looked at that turn again and its amazing. Not only did it take away any retaliation potential for my turn but rendered useless my 2 main support pieces. I feel totally demoralized from it. Which makes me respect it even more. I am gonna need more time to recover.

Yeah Spider-man can hit someone But only for 1 compared to your 7 last round. I need a better response than that. I was hoping to net a few DFD this game with Sues defend.

3.) Ben "Roars How dare you hooligans hurt Suzy Q" and Moves to H-16 and grabs the HO on the way
4.) Reed "I hate magic" he Stretches his body across the temple to I-17
5.) Crystal her pride hurt moves to K-14

For any attack on spider-man Black Panther will take a token for theme reroll
Any attack on Black panther I will not use theme reroll
Reed will hope the best that his super senses will protect him so no theme reroll unless somehow he loses super senses
After that its case by case because I have no idea what you are gonna do.
Your to good, heh I am probably the worst guy with the rules at the moment facing the rule KING. I should have know better, but I wanted to play you as I love your story posts, your teams, the time you put into all of this and playing someone better than yourself make you better...in theory....

free) The skies above the temple sudden churn and roll with raw, magical power as Scirocco's diminished ritual begins to take effect. A crimson bolt of lightning streaks down from above and strikes the already weakened Sue, bringing her to her knees! Scirocco's ritual triggers at the start of the turn and deals 2 damage to Sue. Since this isn't an attack, the Future Foundation TA is not activated.
1) "Begone, bothersome little gnats!" Nemesis snarls as he backhands Black Panther with a pulse of power from his staff! Nemesis uses the Masters of Evil TA to push and Force Blast Black Panther! Roll is: 5 which is more than enough to send T'chala flying to P18. He takes 2 from falling off the elevated terrain. Nemesis takes 1 from the push.
While the ruler of Wakanda is more than agile enough to avoid the crushing blow of the staff itself, the invisible, trailing energy field proves more difficult to handle, and the sheer kinetic force of the unexpected impact sends him flying down to the side of the hill!
2) "Sloppy..." Aeon remarks as he pushes a several buttons on his armour. "...THIS is how you clean up" Aeon uses Move and Attack to move to P19/P20, punching Black Panther. 10 atk. vs 11 def. Needs a 3. Roll is: (4,1) for a 5 and a hit! Black Panther takes 2 and is KO'ed! 1 SA and 1 KO for Dr. Aeon who will finish his move in N17/N18
In a rare display of competent brilliance, Dr. Aeon actually beats the Black Panther is the race to the ground below, teleporting beneath the Wakandan Monarch to anticipate his fall. With cat-like grace and agility, T'chala has already turned himself in mid-air, prepared to land on his feet, when a well-aimed energy blast from the not-so-good Doctor takes him thoroughly out of the fight!
3) "You're a fool to challenge me, grotesque one" Scirocco snaps at Reed, unleashing a blast of crackling arcane lightning at Mr. Fantastic. Scirocco uses his trait to Incapacitate Reed. 10 atk. vs 17 def. Needs a 7. Roll is: (1,2) for a 3 and a total miss as Reed easily stretches around the bio-arcane blast! No pushing damage thanks to Willpower
4) "...Unexpected. What manner of foes are we facing here?" Widow muses, embracing Scirocco in her cold arms once more. "The time for this battle has not yet arrived!" Blinding Reed and Ben with a flash of Deadlight, the Widow and Scirocco both vanish. Widow teleports to M16, placing Scirocco in N15
Should Nemesis be knocked onto Mastermind he'll shuffle along any damage he might take to Dr. Aeon unless it would KO him, in which case he'll pass it to Diabolique instead.

he is 8 away and her range is 7....unless I am wrong about her trait......
Her trait lets her pick any square within her range and LOF and then lets her use quake as if she was occupying that square. If she picks the square that's 7 spaces away from her, at her maximum range, and uses quake as if standing in that square, Nemesis would be in the AoE of her attack

Glad to be able to help, she really is a quite potent figure. But yeah, since she's picking a square to quake *from* within her range, it effectively increases her range to 8 with her tornado

(Attack) Twin Elements: Waterspout: When Crystal uses the Tornado trait, also give an action token to each hit character with zero action tokens after actions resolve.

Tornado requires a power action to activate and lets her use Quake as a free action. Waterspout modifies her Tornado Quake, so those two work just fine together
Exploit Weakness, however, requires its own close combat action to activate, and isn't compatible with Quake (or a modified Tornado-Quake).
So Crystal can either punch someone standing in front of her for penetrating damage with Exploit Weakness, *or* she can Tornado-Quake anywhere she can see within range and also hand out free action tokens with Waterspout while she's at it. But she can't do all of it at once

Exactly, she has to pick a non-occupied square of clear terrain within her range and LoF and then perform the Quake as if she was standing there herself. So no Tornadoes on Ghost Widow's square!
