In my opinion Grant Morrison's "New X-Men" run is brilliant and I would highly recommend. X-Men with a bit of a twist. Great characterisation and some interesting new mutants added into the mix with old favourites such as Wolverine, Jean Grey, Cyclops and Beast. A lot edgier than your standard superhero fare.

Ultimate X-Men and Exiles are also good. Uncanny X-Men is appalling at the moment. I cannot stand Chuck Austen's style..total soap opera stuff with mutants. X-Treme X-Men is also not worth reading either.
