I'm going to roll Plastic Man's Shape Change for Butch's attack. SC = 6.
Your attack would have had to target Human Bomb, who would be a 16 +2ESD +1Hinder = 19. Your attack total was 10 +8, which would have missed.
Uncle Sam Leadership = 5, take token off Ray
1) Ray Hypersonic to E19, attacking MC&C, 10 vs 17. Roll 5,6=11. Hits for 3 -2. Ray back to I20.
2) Human Bomb Quake, 9 vs MC&C 17 and Rex 17. Roll 5,5. That will do 2 to Rex, if the SS doesn't work...

1) Meatball tries to pump Bomb full of lead. 10 on 17...4+5 for a 9. Plastic Man uses a TTPC, so Meatball tries again...3+3 for a 6. His shots go wide.
Free) Butch perplexes Bomb's attack down by 1.
Everyone else clears.

Hang on, I need to make attack rolls against Uncle Sam and Phantom Lady. If they get hit, it'll be 2 damage with knockback. The Ray will take 3 damage. (The damage can be reduced/avoided.)
Will the grenade hit Uncle Sam? 11 on 18...4+1 for a 5. Nope.
Phantom Lady? 11 on 18...5+1 for a 6. Nope as well.
The grenade's just going to affect The Ray.

I didn't have this at work. Grenades not in the rulebook (of course).
But I found this in the Players Guide:

So your first attack would target all of them, no need for the subsequent rolls. And, you're right, 2 damage each, +1 to the Ray if it hits. Unlike Energy Explosion, if the Ray Evades, it could still hit the other 2.
All that being said, yeah, use PC from the Ray to reroll it. If that still hits, then just go ahead
1) Master Chief and Cortana attack Bomb, 11 on 16...6+3 for a 9. Bomb takes 3 for the KO.
Free) Butch perplexes Rex's attack up by 1.
2) Rex throws a Frag Grenade, targeting The Ray. 11 on 18...5+6 for an 11. Ray forces a re-roll, so Rex tries again, 11 on 18...5+5 for a 10. The Ray rolls for Super Senses...perfect 6. He manages to avoid the brunt of the grenade. Phantom Lady rolls for her Super Senses...3. She's not as lucky as The Ray. Uncle Sam takes nothing after Invuln, but he gets knocked back to L20. Phantom Lady takes 2 and gets knocked back to L17. That's one hell of a blast.
Meatball clears.

1) Meatball running shots (moving to F14 and over to G16), dual targeting Phantom Lady and The Ray. 11 on Phantom's 16 and Ray's 18...2+5 for a 7. It will hit both without a TTPC.
