Also if you want to see Kingpin be all types of bad@$$, check out the Punisher:Max book by Garth Ennis. Although it's non-canon, Fisk in there is portrayed as a stone cold %#@$^%. It shows him torturing and killing his dad when he was just a kid & sacrificing his own son to cement his rule of Kingpin. It chronicles his days as a street thug all the way to his rise to power. It makes you forget you are reading a Punisher book and instead wishing a Max Kingpin book would come out monthly. Definitely worth a read.
And if you are looking for something more PG than pick up Spider-man-Turf War and Lobos Bros war. It has Fisk back handing a werewolf. pretty awesome. Don't mess with the King, baby.
Kate Bishop:"Why the HELL do you need an arrow to come back to you after you shoot it, Clint?" Hawkeye: "Because...Boomerangs"
To be clear, the Hobgoblin prime is Phil Urich, who didn't become the Hobgoblin (and Kingpin's top man) until a few years back during Slott's run on Amazing Spider-Man.
I had a lot of fun running Kingpin with his pals from the Deadpool set Bullseye and Elektra and an old Stilt-Man for 400 points on the dot of Daredevil rogues. Wilson makes Bullseye even better than he already is and Stilt-Man is a decent damage sponge and great vantage point for the big man to borrow.
"A poorly chewed tortilla chip can result in serious injury."
I like playing Kingpin with the Spot and Black Cat along with some goons and Hand ninjas to recreate the badassery of Spectacular Spider-Man 100 (although playing Black Cat with them isn't totally comic accurate)
The most effective combo is obviously playing him with Elektra and Bullseye, however. Bullseye ends up dealing 6 damage with a 12 attack and sharpshooter.
"I remember you said to me once, you said... 'if death ever comes your way and won't let you pass... make sure you scream right back in his face"
The Kingpin (re-named as 'Dirigible') was also part of an Age of Apocalypse Marauders team consisting of Arcade, the Owl, Norm Osborn/Green Goblin and himself.

Horrible, I wasn't able to hit an attack 1 time in the first 3 rounds with only needing 5s and 6s for rolls. I hit amazing rolls in game 4 though and hit almost every attack. It was weird. But I always tend to have that luck with dice rolls.
Dice rolls will be the bane of my competitive Heroclix career.
Yeah, the moment hulk would get on his regeneration click, the goons would ping him with a hydra'd defense. 8s on a 16. Plus hulk couldn't get away from the goons stacking plasticity.
Just want to point this out.

GREAT SIZE This character ignores opposing character’s Plasticity, can use
, , O , , and can’t be knocked back. When this character makes a close combat
attack, it may target characters on higher elevations. This character may draw lines
of fire (and have lines of fire drawn to it) as if the character occupied the elevation
equal to or greater than the elevation it occupies, using the elevation level with the
least restrictive line of fire. This ability can’t be countered.
