Alanna tried to wake up her love Adam Strange. He had been very busy defending the planet and was close to exhaustion.

Unfortunately, Alanna had a premonition that bad things were on their way. She feared for Adam's life. She feared for her home planet Rann. She had faith that Adam could save them, he always did.

Ken Masters evaded the return fire from the Prophet of Regret and decided to up the ante.

He fired another fireball but a force shield deflected it and suddenly The Prophet of Regret was no longer there, leaving Ken Masters with the thankless task of trying to console the Rannian victims who feared him as much as they did the Prophet of Regret.

Day 75: Before Dawn; On replicated planet Rann in an alternate reality.

Vega; One of M. Bison's right hand men, glared around at his surroundings. He was a master assassin. He had big plans. None of them had to do with this place or these surroundings. He was in shock a bit. Never had he ever been removed forcibly in such a mysterious manner.

He was angry and mystified. This was not Madrid! He had a bullfight scheduled tomorrow evening. He was to be the star attraction! He needed to find a way to get back.

What was this place? It seemed like something from the future.

He wanted to ask questions but the few that saw him fled.

A rift opened up near the assassin Vega and through it spilled a UNSC Marine, fully armed and armored. UNSC stood for United Nation Space Command.

The Marine looked around but only saw the Street Fighter Vega. He immediately put out an SOS on his radio and after a short period managed to contact John 117 alias Master Chief. Master Chief told the Marine to stay where he was and Master Chief would come to him.

The marine signed off and attempted to communicate with the Street Fighter villain.

"You there! Can you apprise me of my current location? "

Vega stared at him. Whatever was in that armor spoke English. He thought it was an alien invasion of some sort, or perhaps the authorities of this futuristic place. Whatever it was, Vega decided he would test his skill on this armored fool and vent his anger on him.

Vega attacked the Space Marine.

E. Honda; the Sumo Wrestler, was just finishing a workout when the rift in reality took him.

On the other side of the world, Reggae and rapper star Dee Jay was leaving a recording session when he was taken by a rift in reality.

Two Locust Drones were marching through the area shooting anything that moved.

They did not know where it was they were or why but they assumed they were somehow in enemy territory and decided that everyone they saw qualified as such.

Dee Jay and E. Honda emerged from their rifts from opposite sides and saw the two Locust Drones wreaking havoc with their Bolo grenades and Gorgon submachine guns.

Neither of the Street Fighters stopped to think. Moving quickly, they each attacked a Locust Dtone, using StreetFighter moves to avoid getting hit. They still got hit but they were from the Street Fighter Earth and slightly superhuman. They struck the Drones and disarmed them.

They than stood back and beat the hell out of the Locust Drones for going on a killing spree.

Rannian police arrived in time to take all four of them into custody. The two Street Fighters decided to cooperate with the Rannians.

At first there was a language barrier as E. Honda spoke Japanese and Dee Jay spoke English with a Jamaican lilt. But the Rannians had translator technology which easily handled E. Honda's language but struggled with Dee Jay's colloquialisms. The Rannians finally decided to focus on communicating with E. Honda.

Damon Baird had witnessed the kidnapping of Marcus Fenix and nearly crapped his pants when he saw it. Augustus Cole and Dominic Santiago saw it too and they were all trying to figure out what had happened.

Their transport had broken down and for them to get out of the firefight zone they would need it fixed. Cole and Santiago stood watch while Baird went to work. Without Marcus Fenix, their mission had to be scrubbed and they needed to retreat.

Unfortunately for them, a rift in reality appeared and engulfed Baird along with the transport, stranding Cole and Santiago in a hot zone.

Two Kig-Yar; known as Jackals to the UNSC Marines, did not know where they were or why so they were firing their Plasma weapons at anything that moved. One was armed with a plasma pistol and the other a plasma rifle.

The unarmed Rannians were helpless against the onslaught.

Damon S. Baird was franticly working on repairs to the Armadillo class vehicle that he and his colleagues had arrived in to wage war. But now he was without his colleagues and he was hearing strange sounds from outside his vehicle.

He hollered to Augustus Cole and Dominic Santiago. "What the Hell is going on?"

When he got no answer, he got worried and poked his head out. He ducked his head back in quickly. Whatever those things were, they weren't Locust hordes. And those weapons seemed way too advanced. What the Hell was he going to do against that?

General Raam wasn't alone for long. On his home planet Sera he was rewarded with the arrival of his Locust hordes. Locust Drones were suddenly everywhere.

For the High Prophet of Regret, he was rewarded too. His outpost; established on the Planet Rann specifically for his invasion, was now populated by Kig-Yar. He sighed, Only Kig-Yar? Well, that was a start.

M. Bison was grateful for his hypnotic powers. He had mesmerized that soldier and escape him. Bison had not wanted to take chances with his life by engaging an armed soldier. He was not sure how good the man was. Now was no time to find out.

He fled through the streets of Rann until he spotted his colleague Vega assaulting someone or something in futuristic armor. Bison needed his employee to help him in this strange world so he joined Vega and together they double teamed the hapless Space Marine until his armor cracked from their blows, Finally Vega was able to snap the poor marines neck, committing cold blooded murder to vent his rage.

When they were done, Vega finally realized the presence of his erstwhile boss.

They huddled together to try to assess their next move.

Master Chief was hurrying to try to locate the Marine that had communicated to him and arrived in time to see Vega and M. Bison standing over the fallen body of what was clearly a UNSC Marine.

This confused Master Chief. The enemies were of the Covenant. These two appeared to be human. Were they traitors? Was there a traitorous faction that the UNSC had to deal with? Master Chief did not know what was fully going on. He did not know that he was not in his own universe and did not know that Vega and M. Bison were of a separate reality.

He knew he was enraged by the death of a valiant marine though.

He moved to arrest Vega and M. Bison.

Ken Masters was arrested by Rannian police and also cooperated rather than resist.

When he was brought in, he was shocked to see E. Honda and Dee Jay in custody as well. Dee Jay shouted with joy when he spotted Ken.

The Rannian police were unable to restrain Dee Jay and Dee Jay ran to Ken to grab him and lift him over his head excitedly.

Ken Masters calmed Dee Jay as best he could but could not suppress Dee Jay's natural boisterousness.

Since it was obvious that the three men knew each other, they were allowed to sit together as the Rannian police tried to decide to what to do.
