Roderic - was thinking about this thread last night and remembered another abuse that WK has shut down by making these guys equipment ...

apparently, though I never saw it, it was a "thing" to pick one figure and equip it with multiple entities - as they all cost 25 points and didn't have the "when you equip another item, KO any other equipment on the character" language.

So, I've heard of stories where people had 4 or 5 or more entities equipped to a single figure.

Why? Think about it - it's stupid, but a 75 point figure with all 9 entities is 300 points and was (at that time) a 10 figure force for map, themed team, etc. And I don't remember if you could pick a power from each one, but I think you could, and don't remember if you could pick a stat from each one and boost up to +9 on stats (obviously, subject to the rule of 3s), but ... you can see why WK turned these guys into equipment to prevent entity stacking, among the other changes to entities.

That, sir, is WHACK.

I fully agree, thus when they made the change to entities, and I then learned about the top tier stupidity that was happening ... I was doubly happy.

One - the change made sense.

Two - I've never played at that level, and ... it sounds like it's dreadful.

On a meta level, it sounds like another layer of non-figure interactions that I tend to hate. On a thematic level, I can at least appreciate funneling a lot of power into one guy.
