You are kidding me right ? DW is all but dead, Crystal beasts get hurt by thestalos since it doesn't get its effect and you get the burn if you happen to hit a monster, if you hit a spell its even better. Zombiemorphosis ? Are you serious ? And Six Sam and DDT appear to be laying down to die against monarchs. Thestalos is the second best monarch in the game. People in this format play for advantage, and protect it by being conservative with their hand. Thestalos hurts that bad. Not to mention his value against Demise decks, which is a considerably larger threat than all the things you named.
Dark World> Monarchs. Seriously. Against Demise, I give you that
But you don't Crystal Beasts when you dump them via effect. They just can crystallize with pegagus or one of the spells they play. However, that statement you are making is in your metagame. In mine, Hand advantage is important, but field dominance and hand management is more important. I've routed Monarchs with DW because they specifically can do that. manage the hand, dominate the field. I am asking you try it and see if it works. I see Thestalos as a side board because you don't know what you'll face in the first round. If you play conservative, you want to see what being played. And if you can safely get on with Thestalos, then do it.

Lolorskates.
I've tried it without thestalos.
x3 zaborg
x3 mobius
x1 thestalos
Thats how it used to run, and I got pwned badly, thats why I've changed it up to a slightly higher level of control.
Raiza > zaborg, it makes dead draws, it doesn't put monsters in the grave for them to revive later or use pot of avarice to gain a hand advantage over me, and it helps clear the field. Plus i only have 1 zaborg. As for the mobius, I do have a third, but i feel with those 2 + heavy ad mst, I have enough M/T removal going on.

So then:
[3]Raiza
[2]Mobius
[2]Zaborg
I think Two Zaborg is good in a clutch situation. It will help out for you when needed.
Well bro, we are never going to settle on this issue. I think Zaborg is better than thestalos because he more versatile. Afterall, A monarch deck plays conservative so Zaborg should be able to see play there
But either way. Good Jon on it
Now if you won't mind me asking, can you have a crack at my deck

the link is in the sig
How so ? Zaborg HAS to destroy a monster. That's not versatile. Thestalos goes for a card in the opponents hand. It doesn't hurt you, guarantees advantage, if its a spell or trap you are guaranteed a good hit, if its a monster, you risk dumping something like treeborn, or heavens forbid in a bad meta, a DW monster, but then you get the burn damage to compensate.
Now lets look at the worst case scenarion, lets just for these few seconds imagine DW is halfway competitive in a meta so focused on advantage, then you get to summon a goldd !!! ... that gets run over by thestalos. and thanks to the burn he still got 600 damage in as well.
Raiza controls the field better than zaborg does. He also clears a card, but he can clear ANY card and attack for damage, just like zaborg but better. On top of that he sends the card to the top of the deck, preventing problems with treeborn, tomato, rat, malicious, disk commander etc, AND the opponent will be feeling the effect next turn as he draws his spun card again instead of a solution.Raiza has more staying power as well.
Lastly, triple mobius in the main ? Bad idea. You always want to have 3 in the main and side combined for d-fissure, and if you play a lot of traps, decree and such. But don't forget, raiza can clear a lot of threats in that department as well, and mobius often ends up being dead as not that many cards are set, and a lot of them are chainable, making mobius a 2400 ATK vanilla in the main deck.
I'd run it 3 thesta with 2 raiza and 2 mobius, or possibly 3 raiza, 3 thesta and 1 mobius. With the extra mobius and raiza in the side of course.
