i just got an artillery infantry unit and it has anti-p so would that work on the artillery to.

Nope. Anti-Personnel requires a target, and artillery does not directly target any enemy units.

Actually, Anti-P does work on arty attacks. The artillery is targeting the pog, so it is possible that some infantry could take spillover damage from anti-personnell arty, but it will usually not even become an issue. The only way that arty wouldn't be able to use anti-personnell is if they release a ruling saying that armor-piercing & streaks don't work with arty either, because they are all worded the same way.

AnP does not work on arty pog attacks, I assure you. :)

In other words, there is no meaning about AP in artilleries like SS Sniper and SW Padilla.... What idea there is to but AP to artillery piece if it dosen't work when used pogs? Of course my beloved fatties are stronger with they armor SEs against artillery but still it feels lame.

AnP = Anti-personel.
AP = Armor piercing.

Ok......so does ANTP Work on Artillery attacks? Or not? i would think it does, because Ap works on Arty attacks...O_o ANTP Aside i like the new lil mortar squads good to keep infantry away from the big mechs.

anp has to have a target. a pog is just a pog without a target but ap can be used with it because it require no target. the way anp works is to apply equal damage to units in base contact with the TARGET.

........From a Realisum Standpoint ! ANTP would be more realistic on arty than Armored Peircing.........
