does the towed AA has two damage pogs? With the new arty rules one two damage pog is lot better than two one damage pogs, especially without ap.

hhhhmmm, i see your point here. however, im still a little leery about our Locust. i have to get within 8 inches of a target to shoot it. what's to stop someone from ramming/charging me to bits? and what's with the shorter 6 inch range that's completely nullified by the primary energy damage? its not even an alternative weapon, just something we'll never use. i get the feeling they put it there just to force us to take 2 heat sink overload rolls.

The Locust is a Pursue Lance member...It hunts wounded equipment/personal and prevents them from escaping. Not as usefull as Migeul, Sato, or Sterling but a very nice piece. If you were to play on an eight foot long board and DZ were two feet from the back (so your only 4' from each other to start) and you use withdraw rules from FactionWar. (that's a lot of and's) Then the Locust ROCKs.
Hey, I just came up with my next convention-supported tourney!

My 2 C-Bills on CA for the DF are, OMG please can I have a unit where I might pull it from a booster! Most of our stuff is Elite/Chase/Unique! IE hard to get. Well it's cool stuff and very playable. Have to complain about something.

Tell me about it. The only DF unit I've pulled so far is a Mortar Team. ONE!

On the plus side, I pulled a SC MAD II, and someone traded me Andre Crawford for it. Good deal, huh? :)

The Arrow IV artillery tank is better than the Towed AA artillery because:

a) It's mobile

b) It needs only a 10 to hit blocked LOS (8 attack against an 18)

c) It has 2 pogs and 2 damage

How is it NOT better?

I believe it also costs considerably more?

Doesnt it also have antipersonell?

I was really Impressed with the units we got in this set, almost al of them can be really useful, and we finally get some decent arty. Plus the Bounty Hunter is the baddest Mutha Ive seen in a long time, hes playable for almost his whole dial, got nine lives like a Spirit cat, especially considering moderate dial life is what we usually get. I cant wait to get my hands on the BH and start blowin enemy`s into smoldering melted blobs.

Also, gotta love our chopper. It took me a while to get 4 DF Dischmitts and DF 4 Maxims, but now that we got the choppers I think the maxims are gonna star collecting dust. Just give blocking terrain to fly and drop my tank over.

actually, the DF garrots have defenses low enough that even the AA defense tanks can bring them down in 1 shot. that's not good.
