I was under impression that it was the swordsworn that blow up swordsworn mechs. I could be wrong ofcouse. It could be the sun's fault, but it doesn't explain why i have seen one blow up during night standing in shade in a cool river.

Personally, I like light mechs. they fit my play style: "You take your one assault mech and I'll take my three light mechs."
Yes, nothing wrong with that.... if the light mechs were only cheap enough (point wise) to field, say, three Packhunters or Panthers or Locusts for one Jupiter. But, take a look: Hitoshi is, in my eyes, greatly overcosted and costs as much as a Black Hawk.
What I want to say: there should for the future be more small light mechs like the Mjolnir, costing less then 100 points so you can actually afford to throw 3 or 4 of them against big bad Atlas.
And for complaining about too few LE's: The primary right to complain have ROTS players. Then come Stormhammer players. Then follow the Wolves, Highlanders, Cats, and Dragon's Fury players. The last right to complain go to Swordsworn and Highlanders players.
I think the whole screw-one-faction thing would have been much more comfortable if the screwed faction got at least one or two LE's to compensate. That would do nothing to cut down the number of units from a specific faction you get per booster, as was mentioned as the reason for screwing at all.
Way I see it, Athos, the 'Cats don't have TOO much to complain about LE-wise. They make up for it with sheer numbers. Also, did they receive an LE for LI? If so, they're better off than DF.
That being said, obviously chief complaining do in fact go to RotS and SH.
Oh, well then by that logic the 'Cats have "no bleeping need for LEs", considering they have the Arnis of Evil. And what about that Mjolnir of Evil!
Oh yeah, and the SS have the various artillery including the A4 of Evil.
Hmm... Liao has the Jacyn Bell and Catalina Trujillo of Evil... and the Evil Targe!
BR has the Stefani Ehli of Evil... possibly even the Raider of Evil...
(wait, I'm starting to see a pattern here!)
SW has the Geoff Bekker of Evil.
SH has the AA vehicle of Evil, and the DI Towed is semi-Evil...
Well, I guess that leaves only HL and RotS without Evil, so that must mean they are the only two factions allowed to get LEs. Until they get Evil, of course.

That's the silliest thing I've ever heard. The Schmitt, outside of tank-drop, is good. Not broken, not cheese, good. It's TANK-DROP that's broken.
No one uses an untransported Schmitt in competitive play.
I 85% of the time play df faction pure and i can not think of the last time I used the schmitt. I dont need/want to use it due to the cheesyness of it, not that im saying you cant use it but i like to be more creative with my armies and the result is quite satisfying.
When will the DF players come to understand that their mechs are lightly(if at all) armoured with high movement. What's the point of giving you guys assault class mechs if they're only gonna have the stats of a medium mech anyways.
oh dont get me wrong i have all but 3 df uniques(including le's) and I have all the non's except for the new arrow iv and the locust, but i just dont like to use the schmitt unless i am dieing to win.
