i was the Khan of the short-lived Clan Iron Raptors (we didnt last long because we only had 5 people other than me... and when my internet screwed up i couldnt get back on so im guessing it's dead now)

I was also part of Clan Wolf at one time (or atleast one of the Clan Wolfs) ... but the Khan shut it down...

I would like to get back into a Clan but there are a few questions i would like to ask...

1st: do you play with unlimited ammo, no heat, and no splash damage?
2nd: does anyone know how i can fix the problem that it says all the servers are having problems?

Yes,I am definitely interested as well. I really hope we can practice and work on strategies and such. Will the web site be completely devoted to the unit? Will we have a say in the name? Unit ranks? This sounds really cool!

I'm purchasing a original CD of Mercenaries along with the MechPak's this weekend, because I'm tired of using copied material.
My experience:

Played All Mechwarrior Games and Expansion Pak's ever since Mechwarrior 2.
Mechwarrior 3 - Played in CST ( Clan Storm Tiger ) as Galaxy Commander. 4th place in World League with only 10 members. All the other clans had an average of 24.
Been working in MW4 - Vengeance & Mercenaries for more then 2 years, and I'm prety good wih any 'Mech Tonnage.
I can use the Light/Medium Classes if everyone prefers the Heavy/Assault ones.

BTW, I play another on-line game named "Global Operations".
My clan there is "International Mercenary Alliance" because we have members from many different countries.
I can get a host for our website and a phpbb2 forum free of charge, since our server there is able to host it.
I've tried to convince them to build up a Mechwarrior unit for Mechwarrior 4, but they aren't interrested.

Ok, more stuff:
Once I get responses from at least 9 people who aren't me, I'll get us working. I say 9 because the MW4VL needs units to have at least 10 members to be accepted.
I'm gonna need help running stuff. Anyone who has had previous experience with a unit especially. People good with Photoshop to make site graphics and a unit decal, as well.
I'd also like people to post a first and second choice for positions and 'Mechs/loadouts, as well as contact info and such, like this:

Thou I have one little problem...
1st i've never played it online, so if someone could tell me if it's posbile to play on leagues if i have a copy of the cd, not the original game. I've played vs other people, but only on LAN games w/friends (and i've kicked some ###!!!!)

by the way, if legging the Daishi's underarmored legs or shooting a red back or blow that nova cat's arms so he wont blast us with his 7 large lasers, keeps me alive, I'll sure gonna do it.
Think like a MechWarrior. Sure you're suposed to be noble and reasonable, heck, that's why you're mounting the huge machine; but you are also there to take out those who are there to take you out . The thing is not doing it like it's the only way to win.

P.S. - Might I suggest changing the positions to the following:

Recon - I think you get the picture.
Strike - Raiding units and skirmishers
Support - Missle boats and snipers
Assault - Front line combatants
Command - Command units

Consequently, these could be used to designate lances.

We are going to be a Mercenary Clan, not a Clan clan....

Mostly Clan clans have that ideology.
Not shooting legs, not shooting 'Mechs from the back, not shooting when they fall on the ground (have to wait till he/she gets up)
That kind of stuff....
