Nope, they disappear to the land of secret weapons. A lot of the Uniques people forget about are pretty decent. This means that if you hang on to them/buy them you're going to have a unit that many people have forgotten about and aren't considering in their tactics. Wizkids seems to be relatively good at keeping units balanced, there are many Rebellion, Lancer, and Whirlwind units that are just as good now as they were when they were released (better in some cases due to new support units). A good example of this is the Mountain King. No one every talks about this guy. He's not a #1 unit in anyone's book, but he's definitely a dangerous unit. People don't usually think about him or consider him in their strategies... which means when he shows up on the field, they often don't know how to handle him.

I think it's great that people forget about units quickly... it makes it easier to surprise and beat them.:D

The Rabbidgerbal played a booster draft and got clobbered by the mountain king. He's a neat figure.

And guess what. The Rabbidgerbal instantly sought him out to add to his collection.

Your right tin cow, with so many to choose from at least tactics can be wildy different if you take the time to look through more of the figures. Thats always refreshing to the game.

The Frothing one always felt a bit oppressed by that other game that will not be mentioned produced by those who will not be named. Forcing you to choose comand and elite and troops from a list, even if you can tweek them. It's much more fun to decide you want all uniques or all mounted, or zero flyers... you get the idea.

The Dwarfen army only needs jarl frostdriven to be complete! muhuhahaha. He will be mine, oh- he will be mine! Then it's only a matter of whistling "hi-ho-hi-ho-hi-ho"

I see we share an equally fanatical obsession with dwarves my frothy friend. How can anyone not like an army that's composed of dwarves, hot amazon women, and lots and lots of guns?

I consider the Solovani Destroyer one of the better Sinister uniques. I like him and find him to be a very useful, at least to me. On another note, looks like buying a Jarl Frostrviven for $7 was a good deal after all:D .
