most dragons have invul followed by toughness in front dial(about 5 clicks) and have toughness on sides at some pt.(about 3 clicks) the only good spot is the tail which usually has polearm
Stone thrower on Dragon? hmm. maybe it was played wrong, but i killed a Stonethrower with a VSD and only took 3 clicks to one of the sides and one to the back for pushing
Originally posted by Yeroc2 I think that it is also illegal to ram as a movement formation (so that would be 6 actions)
Correct. You cannot move in formation with Ram "on" in either Conquest or Unlimited. Also, you have to turn Ram "off" or you won't do shakeoff. For reference, see "Ram" on the special ability card.
In Conquest, you can move in formation with Bound, Charge or Flight (as long as your aren't doing the move & attack option). However, they didn't relax the restriction for Ram (for this very reason).
However, you can do Shake-off in formation. Admittedly, this is mostly for Unlimited. In Conquest it's possible, but it would have to be a formation of Uniques (or a mixed formation of Uniques/Nons with the Uniques doing the Shakeoff).
magna- I agree that the other player's ability is an important factor. I recently battled a full health VSD using two stonethrowers with completely opposite results. Dead Dragon with no damage to the stonethrowers. now wouldn't it be fun to play my stonethrowers against your VSD?;)
Doesnt the RLD go into toughness on the sides after the defend wears off?? Sure u could ram it out of defend, but then u have toughness todeal with, and a ram needs like an 8 to hit it by then.
