moloids are great, i got two of them, R and E. Sure after two clicks they're ####, but they're nothing more for decoys when heavy hitters are right behind they're corpse and knock the opponent to the 9th level of hell. yeah, they're great. better than thugs! lol
Actually, I think I pulled the mightiest Moloid in history.
I was using him as a meat shield next to Amazo. My Judge Death clawed the #### out of Amazo a couple times and I had one action left, so I decided, "What the heck. I'll attack Amazo with the Moloid." And the Moloid killed Amazo. It was beautiful.
Originally posted by shin-goji The big problem is teh number of characters on your team. I played a 300 point team using only Skrulls and a r Mystique, no character over 40 points. I found in all three games there were up to four or five Skrulls sitting around, goofing off and not moving the entire game. Even with leadership that's only one extra move. You can put a lot of Moloids on your team but will you have the actions to back them up and move them into play?
That is also one of the things that makes moloids shine in comparison to other generics. Sure, you can't move all of your figures efficiently, but do to stealth on the moloids you won't have to.
Think of them not as characters, but as barrier segments that dont go away. Set up moloid bunkers, then manuever your other figures behind them.
This also gives further credit towards the Vet Moloid. You may not get as many as you would fielding a bunch of Rookies, but you'll have better MM fodder, pushability, and more efficient use of your characters as a side effect
