He could be talking about Kelly's comment in her interview about Mechwarrior.

As new factions are introduced and we continue to see feedback from players some factions may excel while others begin to falter. Some factions may even be eliminated altogether.
She didn't really say she wanted to eliminate factions.
No one pay attention to mrdbeau's last thing. Because if you kept reading you would see that later he said that he was mistaken and meant that was the DC figure Valkyrie or something like that. It is not an EF fig, but a DC one, which I would think is obvious to most.
That is obvious, after you look at it... however I thought they were talking about the griffon figure thingy... which looks EL, but who knows. BTW jag, that's a great sig you have there. Guess I'll go add some anti-DC rhetoric to mine...
Originally posted by redtiger7 Well, WK staffers have said in interviews that they wanted to eliminate some factions all together....
I remember reading something like thise on the official site. But the way I remember it, they said Subfactions could be destroyed alltogether, depending on how campaigns and votings go. I dont recall them saying an entire Faction would be eliminated, and I personally think that would be a horrible choice on WK's part.
I personally think EL will win. Why? To bring DC back down on level with the rest it is there way of doing it. Sooner or later faction that hated each other will ban together under a common thread (DC).
I don't recall specificly word for word the exact articles I read them on, but i think Kelly's interview was one, the initial anoucenment on the thing were players choose a faction and their standings will influence the future of the game was another, and I seem to recall another article just before or after 2.0 came out. Inquest (or whoever) I believe may have quoted a WK employee in a pre-2.0 interview.
I hope it won't happen, but they're getting trashed in the story line, got jack squat in 2.0, and Draddog hasn't been very forthcoming with his comments on the subject (aside from his speculation that they'd get a boost) It's hard to be optimistic when it doesn't look good.
I was thinkin. If the elves flood the vurga divide then they drain the lake and it says on the map theres dwarven caves with gold silver and blind tentacle creatures. And if the lake is drained necropilis isnt so defendable anymore. All the DC's enemies will strike the EF will come out of there castle while the DC is running back to Necropilis to defend it. The Galeshi will strike down darq and the DC will fall while everybody allies together to envade necropilis muw ha ha ha ha
Just an idea
umm, didnt you read that the water level would barely change? they said they'd drain a little water, not the entire pacific ocean.
it isnt like all the factions are going to go "oh no, the black lake dropped 2 inches in water level! lets go poke them with our magic sticks!"
lol Dark, and Seed, arn't you suppose to be with the DC? Anyway the elves got my vote... THE DARK ELVES! *Cough*Drow that was corny*cough*
And Seed if they did drain the lake where would the water go? In someones mouth or something? Or would they make a long hose that would go to the ocean and dump it in there? I like the drinking the water one.
The water drains in the vurga divide  duh dont you read kill all the puny humans in it muwha ha ha ha and the Sacred order of bloodlust let see if i remember isnt any certain faction so there  So i can cheer for the mountain elves all i want
