Anyway, there are a lot of armies nowadays that would be able to cross the board's distance in two or so turns, so where would you be if the caster of the glyph were to be killed right away? or would you attack the harrassers?

Just a thought. Not even considering the MoM or submerged armies, you would have some problems already with fast moving armies. (like tough river chargers on ef horned stags double timing to get to you quickly)

Domains would also hurt you somewhat.
