Very nifty lil deck. I think im gonna try a very similiar deck. With my limited brain capacity i was unable to come up with a way to utilize Scott Summers to its fullest.
Now on to the real meat and potatoes. For the love of gawd plz pm me how to find the mod for magic workstation. The only people i play VS with are my friends...... who dont have cards of their own and use my decks. I kid you not. I cant find any adult casual players here. So umm a way to play my decks against other people, who actually know things about the decks they are using, would be like a flow of awesome straight to my brain. No seriously it would be kewl.
Team Tactics gives the boost by the character's ATK - BUT, does that mean the printed ATK or the modified ATK..? I'm not sure one way or the other, and it has never been FAQ'd or ruled on AFAIK

It better be modified ATK or my numbers in Stubarne's challenge are wrong.
As far as the Realms go, we're still evaluating which package to use. Right now, I only have the 31 Spidey vs. Doc Ock cards in MTGPlay. That's why I haven't published my mod, it's just not ready.
There are Pros and Cons to each package, but I haven't tried the Workstation mod to fully evaluate it. The only thing I don't like about it, is that it's not as customizable in the current version, since it's a closed source "cripple-ware" package , whereas MTGPlay is open source and the code is fully available and it could be "de-Magic'd" by a skilled programmer.
However, if the MWS guys make good on their promises for the next version of Workstation being fully customizable for other games, there may not be a need to recode MTGPlay.
Is it about the apprentice port or the Xburn deck because neither seem that original to me.
Does VSRealms need writers? We should all start sending in articles, because this one made my eyes hurt with obviousness. The micrsoft paint wolverine is ok I guess.
Thanks for all the great comments guys about the deck and the mod for workstation...the deck is just a fun creation of Matt's and it is a hell of a lot of fun to play. Of course eyegouge knows everything about Marvel, so he didn't find it helpful...maybe if he read the whole thing he would have realized it was all for fun, no claim to breaking tech, and he wouldn't have embarrassed himself with that hasty reply. Sometimes trolls don't think and it is our job to overlook them and smile at their pitiful attempts to build themselves up by tearing others down. Gouge, I challenge you to instead write something you think is worthy if you feel the need to express yourself again.
As far as the link for the mod, we are still working out some kinks and trying to get the full card art into the program. Mickey hopes to have the mod complete sometime after Origins (a few weeks away) and I will host the patch on my site for your use. We will even have a copy of the old Workstation version since it seems to be the least buggy. I challenge you all to download and register a copy of Workstation because it is truly an incredible tool for on line play. Maybe by doing so, the programmers will get the updated version out that allows you to completely customize the game.
Mtgplay also looks great and it's open source coding might be a better solution....something we might have to investigate.
Thank you very much for the update, and thank you to everyone who is working on this workstation project. We are eagerly awaiting.
Also i did enjoy the troll analysis, and the deck does look fun.
-Now back to my quest for mark IV Sentinels........ why must they elude me so? Is it wrong of me to not want to pay 2$ for an uncommon?

eyegouge we need more people like you on the realms [sarcasm] and the micrsoft (i think you meant microsoft) paint wolverine is actually an image i believe from some old xmen product (can't remember which, i think it was an old school video game) the image is pretty familiar.. if you don't like what's being posted on the site don't waste your time.. just sit in front of the tv and watch reruns of simple life.. as for myself i like the idea around the deck.. mixing the best drops of both decks and utilizing the ability to not get stunned.. my friend wrathraven actually runs a pretty good xmen deck that uses fastball special xaviers school some cota's and press the attacks (did i mention i hate fastball special? *see my fastball special post for details*) it hurts most of the time..

i have a friend that cant use apprentice and if we had another devise to play online, we might beable to actually play each other
yes i am that pathetic freind, apprentice is my arch-enemy and we hatess it. any other program would be very helpful cuz i cant make it to the LGS as much i would like and need to my daily fix.
and great article by the way, i can see daredevil and 3 drop spidey being very good with kurt and scott. an x-men/SF deck just has so much potentiel.
