Hmm, so far these Gods don't appear to have anything quite as broken as the turn 1 win from the Symbiotes, but they still strike me as being a little over good for my liking.
An example...
God's Vomit
4 Longshot
26 Angel Fighter
14 Master Soldier
4 God of Mistral
4 God of Explosion
4 God of Transfusion
4 God of Phlogiston
Very straightforward, this deck qill quite happily just recruit lots of Angel Fighters and Master Soldiers (each of whom are massive for their cost) each turn, draw lots of cards with Longshot, and then drop a God on turn 4 or 5 and pretty much just flat out win the game.
All your army characters seem very very very strong to me. There is no real reason why your soldiers need to have such competitive stats in addition to abilities which completely dominate the board. I might be wrong about the Gods, but they all seem very very good once you start adjusting your curve such that it includes lots of little characters. I think that the 7 cost one is undercosted, and it's possible that they all are. It is very easy to end up with situations where Master Warrior/Master Soldier have cleared your opponent's side of the board going into turn 4, then you recruit the 7 cost God, nick your opponent's best (and likely only) character, and sit back with a 15 power guy and some other beater, which is a pretty insurmountable board position. All the slaves feel like they might be pretty hot with Avalon Space Station, though I'm not quite sure how hot. Frankie Raye also seems like she might see fair amounts of play with the Gods knocking about.
I think on the whole you need to revisit your power/cost ratio a bit on the characters that you have created thus far. As you get higher up the curve there is slightly more potential to deviate from the following, but at lower costs I would recommend something like this.
1 Cost
Total of 2 - 3 points of ATK/DEF
2 Cost
Total of 4 - 5 points of ATK/Def
3 Cost
Total of 7-8 points of ATK/DEF
4 Cost
Total of 12-13 points of ATK/DEF
5 Cost
Total of 17-18 points of ATK/DEF
6 Cost
Total of 21-23 points of ATK/DEF
7 Cost
Total of 32(ish) points of ATK/DEF
8 Cost
Total of 36-40 points of ATK/DEF
So for example, if you decided you were creating a 2 cost character, then its most likely stats would be 2/3 or 3/2. Other combinations of points wouldn't be out of the question, but should be carefully considered. As soon as a character has above the curve good abilities, it is time to start putting in some penalties, be they on the stat line, or through some additional recruit condition for example.
Wolverine represents the very biggest 3 drop that is ever reasonably played at the moment, and he has an additional recruit cost and no other abilities. Your Master Soldier is the same size and has a potentially devastating ability.

P.S. Are we really so bad for hijacking Spider-Man-X's thread to discuss Starcraft? Or can we all just have our own friendly conversations while we hum the tune 'I'd Like to Buy the World a Coke'??
lol. so toxin doesn't bond with ne one? cause carnage is a bond between Venom's spawn and cletus. Venom is a bond between the alien and brok. spidey was a bond of the venom suite and himself. so toxin (venom's grandson right?) just stands on his own? if so, thats some quick evolution. i mean, first Venom had low control on spidey, then w/brock, they had an uneasy bond. Carnage and Cletus are completly bonded. Now, toxin doesn't even need to bond. lol. that was quick. lol, SC is fun isnt it? haven't played in a whle though. lol. oh well.
i don't know. i just interpreted that way. cause up there it said that toxin has spider-man image. i don't say who he's bonded to. so i infered that he doesnt bond. as for the whole grandson stuff theres a timeline:
Symbiote Timeline (skip some stuff that i don't know)
don't know dates
Symbiote comes back on the shuttle
Shuttle Crashes on bridge
John Jameson gets that stone in his throught (right?) that turns him into a wolf.
Rhino steels promethium from space craft
Investigating Spidey gets stuck with symbiote, chases rhino
after almost killing rhino, goes to Doc Conners and finds out it's a symbiote that will eventually replace him.
Spidey then has to chase Shocker and them cause their after brock for some pics he took. (it framed spidey and such for steeling promethium)
Eventually, the battle takes them to a bell tower.
At bell tower, spidey gets rid of shocker, brock is haingin under bell.
Spidey discovers that noise disrupst the symbiote (later, finds out that infa red light does as well, i think, don't rmeber)
He rings the bell and the simbiote falls off and joins with brock.
Brock goes after spidey, knowing all of his secretes because the symbiote rembered them.
Brock and spidey battle, eventually spidey leads brock to shuttle launch site.
At the site, the noise of the shuttle disrupts the symbiote, spidey takes it and puts it on the shuttle.
brock turn bakc into himself and symbiote is in space.
Key notes:
brock refers to himself as WE
Time Passes
Some wizard dude brings back the symbiote. It re-bonds with brock.
He was brought back to return some guy with a flaming head.
Spidey drops brock in jail. In jail, the symbiote spawns and creates Carnage.
Carnage connects with Brocks' room mate, Cletus Kasady. A serial killer.
the suite bonds with cletus. and they go on a mission to bring back the hot headed guy.
Carnage is whacko, and does what he is told, he loves having the suite.
after a fight, venom leaves and carnage is told to gather life forces.
He does, meanwhile, venom, seeking help because he loves the dr. who has treating him, gets help from the chic dr. and connors to remove the suite. the suite is contained in a jar thing.
Spidey tries to get carnage, but he's too strong. carnage gets all the life forces he needs and manages to open the door. he takes the chic dr. as well. this pisses off brock who rebonds with the symbiote to take down carnage. teams up with spidey. (note, through out this, Warmachine and IronMan team up w/spidey. some stuff about machines and what not)
Venom leads spidey and iron man to the hideout. some cave.
They fight each other, Spidey reverse the machine that was bringin back the flaming head guy (it was from the company that iron man owns, thats why he was looking for it). now, the hot headed guy (who had come out of the other dimension) is being sucked back in.
Flame head created a bond between himself and carnage, thus the portal could not be closed. eventually, venom threw himself in along with venom to save the chid dr.
Venom and Carnage are in another dimension.
Note:
Carnage refers to himself as I not we.
somehow they escape. carnage now spawns toxic and thats where we are. in a nutshell.
ne ways, venom spawend carange (son) and carnage spawend toxin (grandson). and thats how i fiqured all of this
Originally posted by Tassadar [quote:] In the entire universe, there are only 3 official symbiotes. 4 if you count Peter Parker's temporary symbiote costume.
1. Venom
2. Carnage
3. Toxin
Toxin appears in the SpiderMan/Venom/Carnage arc, where Venom and Carnage spawns Toxin, a symbiote that takes the image of SpiderMan, and rivals both Venom and Carnage in power. He doesn't take Peter has a host, I think, since I was reading it for free in the card store :p.
Not true.
There are 6 symbiotes spawned from Venom in Seperation Anxiety. From them only Scream survived. The other 5 went on to refuse and become Hybrid.
Well, I can't say the I AM DOOM!!! is wrong about how many symbiotes there are, because I haven't read that story arc.
deviaan: Toxin does bond with someone, I just don't know his name. He's a cop or something, but the reason I don't think its Parker is because they never mention him at all. Heres what I can remember:
For the first few pages, Carnage and Venom are fighting Toxin. Black Cat is watching from the sidelines. From what I read, apparently Black Cat was stealing somethings from a museum, the un-named cop goes looking for the robber(he already has Toxin at this point) and Carnage and Venom both find him. Start fighting...blah blah blah...some more fighting and Carnage and Venom escape. Probably because Toxin is a spawn of Carnage and Venom, gaining both their strengths.
Cop and Black Cat talk, Cop says he doesn't want anyone to know Toxin took over his body, and tells Black Cat to turn herself in. Black Cat says no, and says if the cop lets her go, then she'll keep Toxin a secret.
Apparently, later on, the Cop's wife(or maybe friends wife, pretty sure its his wife though) have a baby. He goes to the hospital, finds all these people, and they start having conversations...blah blah blah.
Scene skips to an apartment, at night. Cop and wife are in bed, baby starts crying. Cop picks up the baby and carries him around, saying the only one he can protect the baby, is to keep away from him. Then Toxin covers up half his face, in symbiote fashion.
Scene then skips to Cletus's apartment, with Cletus ironing his clothes, talking to Carnage who is in his mind. Carnage talks about how strong Toxin is...blah blah blah....then Toxin is attached to the wall, hearing in on the coversation when the wall he's attached to gets demolished by Carnage. They fight....blah blah blah, and Toxin takes down Carnage, after Carnage explains how he's the ''mother'' and Toxin asks whose the father. Obviously, Carnage doesn't answer, and Toxin leaves Carnage defeated. Next page shows Venom and Carnage crouching next to each other, talking about how if they are going to have any chance of beating Toxin, they should ''have a temporary truce.'' Venom then refers to Carnage as his son. :ermm: It goes something like:''How bout you team up with your old man for just one more time? Its just a temporary truce''
Scene then skips to a bank robbery. Toxin breaks in, and starts beating up all the robbers...blah blah blah...after awhile, Toxin is holding of them by the neck, and tells them he's going to suck out their brains through their eye sockets  . Basically, the robbers understand there going to die, and they see the Cop's badge under the symbiote and talk about how if hes a cop, he shouldn't kill them, and should only put them in jail. Blah blah blah. Scene ends with, I believe, a third person shot of Toxin still holding the robber by the neck.
Read this from a comic called Spider/Venom/Carnage.
Scratch that, I think the cop is Peter....but since I've only read the issue already somewhat deep into it, I can't find out for sure. Going to try and look for that comic again and get some scans.
