English is not one of the national languages of Malaysia, Bahasa Melayu is the ONLY national language.
English is a secondary language due to the fact that Malaysia was a major British Colony at one point with 3 major ports, Penang, Malacca and Singapore.
Anyway, aside from that fun and friendly fact, I wish I could read japanese. =/
English is a major part of school for Japanese kids. They have the JET program for just that. Since buisness in Japan grows everyday at an international level, they need to be able to communicate with other countries. And since English is becoming a major part of dealing in buisness they are required to learn it. It might not be fluent but they now a lot of it. Also it seems a lot of English seems to be going into their daily vocabulary. Since Japanese Kanji can't be used in the sense that we can use the alphabet, they have to use English instead. Thats why Choy stated Attacku and Stunu.
japs battled it out with avengers cards screaming all bruce lee whats nots and stabbing each other under the table for the win until some1's fist was mightiest and got the 10k Tokyo trophy, there, that is what happened.
Originally posted by trippee I'm assuming you mean mainly in Tokyo, yes? Out here in Misawa, the majority of the Japanese can barely speak english--if any at all.
