Wow... this isn't the first post I've seen here reporting a huge theft at a tourney. Sorry about the loss. I would be happy to mail you some commons or uncommons to start rebuilding. I have tons from every set.

When I do tourneys, I usually take to the venue only the deck I'm playing with and maybe another deck to play around with when I have spare time. My entire collection hardly ever leaves the house. My trades I usually leave in my truck outside. I always keep my eyeballs on my bag. usually I just use a messenger bag and keep it around my shoulders, unless I'm playing. I've seen a lot of folks with their big binders full of rares and thought about how risky it is to carry those around.

I think you should just focus on a couple of teams you like, sell of the things you don't play and recycle the money back into your VS pool. Better use of your money.

Are you a casual player or competitive? I am guessing you are a casual player seeing that you are thinking of quitting.

Hey man sorry about your loss. that happened to me back when i played DBZ and magic. and i never really did get back into cards until a couple of my friends started playing this when avengers came out. wish i started playing back when orgins came out.

Are there any cards in particular you want to get back, I told you as long is not soemthing like Garth or bastion I will happily ship you some cards common, uncommon, rare, tell me if you need soemthing and I'll see if I have it.

you need to be much more careful with your cards. it really is your own fault for leaving a binder full of rare cards unattended to for about a hour. people can't be trusted. all you needed to do was take your bag and put it next to you while you were playing and you would still have your cards.

Please don't leave the game, by doing that not only will the thief have got away with cards, but he would have stopped you playing something you enjoy, and in turn, stopped you socialising with the friends you have made.

I'm sure (looking at the thread) you now realise that we VS players value each other highly. The more players of the game, the better. It's nice to see people offering you assistance. And this clearly shows that none of us want you to leave the game.

hey keep ur spider friends stuff they are actually pretty good check the top 8 at 10k orlando on metagame and i am with u i had my deck stolen a few months ago. i never rebuilt the deck. all i did wa get the beatdowns back and fopund another deck to play with. i thought of quiting to but its not worth quiting this game it is to much fun so good luck it getting some of ur stuff back.

I feel sorry for you. Damn those robber. My friends also had his friend stealing cards from him. While he was young, he play Pokemon Trading Card and that friend went straigh to his house and stole the whole album. The worse thing is it is your friend who stole it and you have no proof for saying he stole it.

I always hate to read things like this. It happens a lot but luckily it happens a lot less in VS then in other games. If you've ever been to a yugioh tournament those are nightmares. Entire decks get swiped that are worth 3 times as much as most VS decks.

Kids are usually the culprit too, i always tell people for big events dont bring your trades, just have your deck and cargo pants with a pocket to keep your deck in. The more you bring the better your chance of getting stuff stolen.

The beatdowns are definitely a hard loss, no question about that, hopefully most of the other cards are replaceable.

my last event i went to i had my moderen age deck stolen from right next to my buddy when i was doing a trade.....over half foil, all i wanted to do was play in the event.....that ****** ****** peice of **** will ****** regret it if i find out who it was... i carry a knife, always have and will not hessitate to use it if some one ***** with me or my ****.

OK, I'll make you feel better. I had my Marvel Rare folder stolen last weekend. Granted, I only had two Savage Beatdowns, but add in four of pretty much every Marvel rare (except no Nice Trys, Magneto 7 or Quicksilver 5, Doom, Kang, Avengers and Squadron). Some of that stuff was in there as well (like 2 Avengers Assembled, 2 Rambo, five or six Kang rares etc). You really do feel violated when this kind of thing happens. I'm juct waiting for the person to try to sell them, because we will nail them to the wall when we find them.
