Seriously, that deck is a bad idea for a large tournament with a wide-open metagame. Way too many things can go wrong. Evasion? YOU LOSE! Direct stuns on the defending character? YOU LOSE! System Failure? YOU LOSE! Two or more Fizzles? YOU LOSE! Skillfully-played Null Time Zone? YOU LOSE! Dr. Doom plus defensive tricks? YOU LOSE! Fast Getaway? YOU LOSE! Old-school rush deck that overwhelms you and kills turn 4? YOU LOSE! The list probably goes on...

I played against Kim round 1 and it just old common enemy with System failure from what i got out of it . Reign Reign Go beats .. Using medusa on 3 to stall to late beats and stop tchalla . I mean she didnt have a hard time beating me . I played avengers and missed my 3 drop and my 5 drop. And the only thing I was able to try and do was use Wonder man on her doom and use 3 savage / 3 Calls / 3 no man i had in my hand / resouse . and get one good atk to send her to negative . then when i was like 3 away from double she says savage on you and well thats when I learned she was packing system failure :) ....


I mean so many pros didnt make day 2 . Prosack and jones for a quick example .


After yesterday all i have to say is this game is getting better , I would like to know that just about any deck can make day 2 . and you can play anything and have a shot.

On the Thunderbolts/Team Tactics deck, just to say how good it is, one person played Arkham and no one played Thunderbolts

Arkham Inmates guy is obviously trying to out-tech the others, but I say it is not going to be so easy.

Update: Dalton lost his second round game of the last pod, but that's irrelevant, he will still top 8 and should be #1 seed. Spears lost as well which is more unfortunate as he is 0-2 now and has to win his last game to ensure two FTN spots in the top 8.

Milton's game has had time called and is still ongoing - if he wins it and the next game there is a theoetical possibility of a top 8 for him too, but his tiebreakers are bad. I'm going to get an update on that one when he's done.

EDIT: On a brighter note, David Leader is undefeated in the 10k right now and keeping alive our plan to win both the 10k and PC twice in a row ;)

Horn and Hoeh are still playing but Horn won game one and is looking good to win game 2 apparently.

EDIT: And David Leader won his first game in the 10k draft and so is a lock for the top 8 playoff. Result on Steve is unknown at this point, but he was #8 after yesterday so needs 2 wins to top 8. I'm sure if Dave plays him he may magically get a scoop ;)
