I've allways been a agro-minor control-major player, reguardless of the cardgame. If your eyes glaze over, I apologize in advance. In magic, I've played red-black creature destruction, and currently, golgari creature kill. In yugioh, I'd play chaos clowns ( clown control related).
I've had more fun playing vs than any other game, and decks that I've used include family fun, ssmk ko, spidey generic, and mk style spidey clones, and avengers. The only one that seems to fall outside of my usual playstyle is the clones, because its like a combo deck. So yeah. Go spidey!
I'm a comic geek from way back so i love any kind of combat deck. Not too big on control or burn. Kind of takes the fun out of superheroes battling eachother if all you do is sit back and defend.
in VS i like every kind of style, from Control to Beatdown (Rush and Curve). The deck i like the most is my Five Masters of Doom deck, nothing better than bringing down Psimon when playing against a rush deck.
My First and Favorite deck is Fantastic Four with equips. I made it without knowing what anything was back in the day, and I have played it ever since, adding, changing, throwing accross the room.
But one of my favorite decks to play has been my Zero Hour deck. I had put it together for the DC modern age, and it consistantly beat everything... well, almost everything. Stupid red Robots.....
I love playing Kang. I get so cocky when I play it, because in the back of my head I always know that nothing is going to happen in the game without my express permission. It's a nice feeling. :)
On the flipside, I hate playing AGAINST swarm decks. They just feel lazy to me-- like the person wasn't willing to think and commit to one careful selection at a drop, so instead they just spew out whatever crap floats to the top of the deck.
Titans, because it gives me a reason to sing the theme song. (You know, besides the fact that I'm crazy  )

Originally posted by kurosawa182 I like playing My Own Decks. I've used a Darkseid's Elite and New gods deck that would give you netdeckers a look that just says "huh?". I'm a fan of the comics, that's why I play unusual teams. I'm not a fan of people who use the hobby league as an excuse to build someone else's deck (ie. big bat, TT, FF fun, whatever other pet names you use for these decks.) to beat up on a casual player. I may not win much, but I have fun playing decks that I come up with.
Heck yea iv got a underworld deck (that was my first truly good deck) that I put togather probably not more than a week after I got the boxes I ordered, thing is it has 5 team affiliations in it and works like a charm, makes every one say the heck when they first see it build up but then when 7 hits... the only deck that iv seen beat the deck, that is designed to go this far that is Fantastic knights.
Sin City was one of my long-term favorites... though I retired it after a fairly poor performance at PCLA. Currently, I'm playing around with several decks. The idea I've got for a Titans / Society rush deck seems like it'd be a ton of fun to roll with, though I'm having a ton of fun with Anti-Matter rush. Titans is currently my tourney deck of choice, however, since it deals well with most decks in any given metagame and seems to have a particular affinity for me.
Force is number 1. Then probably glee rush. Unlike most i loved dc modern. Nothing is more satisfying than having 8 guys out when you boost guy gardner.
Playing my JLI deck has been the most fun I've had since taking up the game. It's probably a combination of my love of the characters and the sheer wackiness of the concept. I guess it doesn't hurt that I've done pretty well w/it in the han dful of weeks since I built it.
I also love playing my Spider-Knights deck, and before it used to really dig a Marvel/Gotham Knights deck that was heavy on equipment. Combos and control are boring.
Depends on the type of game I'm playing. If it's one-on-one, then I like XMK Anarchy. If it's a big cutthroat game, though, I must say that it's a tie between Jericho Abuse and Anti-Life Insanity.
