as for when the revelation of madylyne's interference with cyclops vs storm, check out the TPB of inferno, it deals with the after math of the pheonix saga and ties alot of loose ends chris clairmont had floating around.

But as for the powerless Storm... it wasn't until this arc that she truly started to shine as a character. Someone who is worshipped as a goddess in her home land losing all powers was written very well, and her changes to (over)compensate. She was haughty before, but she was down right sadistic and domineering after her powers were gone.

And if I am not mistaken, she also beat Sabretooth while she had no powers.

I still see it on the shelf in my Comics Store. It is still floating around.

I think that Forge was able to restore them during the X-men's battle with the Adversary just before they went through the Siege Perilous.
