Zarbon---Though in practice this won't confuse people often, it's good to realize that the DTM doesn't wait on the chain for its triggering event. In the case of evasion, you stun the character immediately as a cost and place an effect on the chain which will set up a DTM; once that effect has resolved, there is now a DTM waiting around for the start of the recovery phase. It's not on the chain, since the chain's only for effects; it pretty much just hangs out.
Thank you for clarifying that. When I originally said delayed trigger is put on the chain, I meant to make it easier for people to understand. I didn't feel like doing work and explaining it in even more detail, further confusing people. I hate technicalities, lol.
Long as we're trying to be precise, though, some points of terminology---Luckydan, the chain is LIFO, not FIFO. The last effect played is the first one resolved. And the delayed triggered modifier (DTM) from evasion triggers at the start of the recovery phase, but resolves simply in the recovery phase. The start of the phase is essentially just a moment that can trigger effects.
Oooops, sorry there was something I forgot, Stack is essentially LIFO, Queue is FIFO. Start of the Recovery Phase I tend to view as a fine white line, once you cross over it you cant go back, thats how come the DTM is more or less I put the item on that phase's stack, or more or less a Temporary stack for that phase, which becomes real when start of phase = true.
This game can become really complex because of the many DTM in the game which you have to keep a track of otherwise you lose sense of the game.
