I just get a black window when I try to open it. I have the psp version as well though, after I sort out a few router issues I'll probably start putting a deck together.

Ok, I'll admit I know next to nothing about computers. Can anybody help me with this error? If I need a video card or some other hardware, could you please tell me exactly what I would need or maybe even give me a link to exactly what I need...short of another computer. Thanks.

It is my understanding that people are allowed to play from anywhere, but that the store has not yet opened up to international customers due to issues with the international payment system (I think that they are looking for a company to handle currency conversion.)

So...the only way to get the PC version is to download it? That's stupid. You gotta pay monthly for it too. I don't know if anyone is in the same boat as me but, I go to work, school and have a wife and kid...I don't have time to play as much as I'd like to so paying a monthly fee would not be worth it to me.

I thought that all we were paying for is the cards. I haven't seen or heard anything about a monthly fee. As someone previously posted, we can download for free to play online. I did it last night and it took about an hour. I haven't gotten the game working yet, but I did pick up a graphics card that I hope will work.

Yes you only pay for any cards you buy or sealed tournaments you enter. There is no monthly fee. The free download lets you play matches against 3 different AI opponents and gives you access to the online system. There is supposed to be a retail/direct download full PC version at some point but Konami is still working on that supposedly. Since the PSP version is only available at EB/Gamestop or Amazon.com I don't have my hopes up.

Oh and their system for entering you address information so you can buy points for cards is utter junk. I've never seen a worse interface.

I guess PSP to PC isn't working for online play either. I may wait for the PC retail version before I bother to buy cards since I have no idea how many PSP players there are.

to anybody interested. If you look back to the problems that I was having, I bought a $40 card a few days ago and it works perfectly. I bought some points/cards for $20 (10 packs), built decks, and started playing last night. It's pretty fun if you can find other people to play who aren't spending tons of money.

I just upgraded to a radeon x1600 on black friday, I can't justify upgrading again for the PC version when I'd have to buy cards online as well, even more so being that I bought the PSP game.

If you buy the DS or PSP version, how do you buy cards? Can you hook the systems up to the internet?

I think when you log onto the game from the psp or ds, it uses your account on the site. So you can buy on the site, and it will be there when you log on from you psp or ds.

Only the PSP and PC will use the same website. The DS will be separate, and likely utilize a separate account feature. I don't know how pricing will work, if there will even be pricing.
