Anyway... No MUN here untill the end of this month... sigh...
Huh, no, wiki indeed! Sir you insult me! my country! my race! my familly! my intelligence! and my dignity as a human being, I got it from dictionary.com I find it much more reliable and offers translation for choosing just the right word in any language such as this has been indignato falso (let me know if this sounds right please, as I have no way to verify beyond comparison).
When our local store got the e-mail to order, he waited like a day or two to confirm everyone's orders from the store. When he put the orders in through UDE, he was like 14 or 16 on the waiting list. Luckily, one of three other distributors said we should get our order in on time.
So, no one else has heard this new news circulating that UDE may have oversold their stock, and some boxes short of fulfilling all their pre-sales?
Unfortunately there is some truth to this.
I thought I was able to secure some extra product but was told yesterday that all that allocation has been cancelled due to circumstances at UDE.
This is my theory:
1. People did not put in their pre-orders early enough (wayyy back before the previews even started).
2. UDE did their forecasts based on distributor reports and the MUN production numbers were not much higher than MVL.
3. Once previews started hitting and word about the upcoming release date hit, people started pre-ordering which caused distributors to put in re-orders for MUN.
4. In order to fulfill some of these reorders, product was re-allocated from direct accounts to distributors (which is why we were given only a 1-case limit whereas all Marvel product before had a 3-case limit).
What does this mean? Buy MUN early and often because it's going to probably run out just like MVL and DCL.
I warned everyone a long time ago to put in pre-orders early to send UDE a message they need to print more VS. If you didn't preorder over 2 or 3 months ago... you were too late to have any effect on production numbers.
Once the initial orders of MUN are filled, most distributors won't even have reorder stock (usually a distro will fill to preorders and then order a bit more for restock).
