Dark Burst IS very fun tech, though I've usually used them on Mirage, given their inability to be Special Summoned from the Graveyard and also nets 2 Special Summons, one of which can be Necromancer too, then keep spamming out from there.
Iīve just started running this deck when i saw that my Dark World deck, even with all itīs draw engines, usuallu left me with 1 or NO cards in my hand. Itīs scary to run this deck because, just like fiends, they tend to run opposite to everything weīve been taught about the game.
Weīre taught to conserve our resources and this deck tells you to use as many as possible by making the monsters so physically weak that they rarely survive on the field more than a turn when you DONīT activate their effects.
Weīre taught that you donīt set too many S/T cards but this deck tells you to empty your hand and set as much of your cards on the field as possible.
Weīre taught to use 1 and MAYBE 2 monsters at a time, but this deck swarms the field so fast that you HAVE to Synchro Summon in order to free up some zones to swarm again. THis deck summons Synchro monsters so fast and easily that pretty soon youīre daring yourself to summon as many different Synchro monsters as you can (5 minutes ago I summoned Infernity Doom Dragon, Stardust Dragon and Armory Arm in the last turn.
I tried running it PURELY Infernity and it works, but i fond that it flows even better with these 2 Fabled Monsters:
Fabled Raven
Light/Fiend/2/1300/1000 Once per turn, you can discard any number of cards from your hand and increase the Level of this card by the number of discarded cards, until the End Phase. This card also gains ATK equal to the number of discarded cards x 400, until the End Phase.
Fabled Soulkius
Light/Fiend/6/2200/2100 You can send 2 cards, except "Fabled Soulkius", from your hand to the Graveyard to Special Summon this card from the Graveyard.
Raven is a 1) beatstick, 2) Tuner that 3) changes Levels allowing you to summon nearly every high level Synchro monster.
Soulkius empties out your hand to revive himself. What more can you ask for?
Try it out people, itīs incredible! You kinda feel like Yugi, where every top deck is like "HA! Gotcha now, Kaiba! I knew my deck wouldnīt let me down!". You just have to put your brave face on.

EXTRA (15)
1 Armory Arm (lv4)
2 Stygian Sergeants (lv5)
1 Brionac (lv6)
1 Black Rose Dragon (lv7)
1 Chaos King Archfiend (lv7)
1 Stardust Dragon (lv8)
1 Infernity Doom Dragon (lv8)
1 Hundred Eyes Dragon (lv8)
1 Red Dragon Archfiend (lv8)
3 Mist Wurms (lv9)
1 Trishula (lv9)
1 Red Nova Dragon (lv12)
SIDE (15)
3 Paralyzing Chains
3 Dust Tornados
3 Twisters
3 Imperial Iron Walls
2 Book of Eclipse
1 Book of Moon
Iīm gonna switch the Chains for something else but as you can see I have 6 S/T removal cards and imperial Iron Wall in my Side deck and thatīs to face Macro Cosmos and Dimensional Fissure as well as Skill Drain which are the 3 cards that your opponent can activate first turn and annihilate you until you can get rid of them.
You are aware that Fabled's are LIGHT right ? You are running a lot of cards that are useless without discards, and as the game progresses past the first handless turn, you have nothing to discard, in fact you'll likely want to use every card that comes at you, meaning cards like back to square one and fabled raven will be horribly dead. At the same time you choose to only run a single inferno, which is the core of consistency for this deck. Discard any 2 cards (including soulkius, stygian etc) and send two of your core monsters to the graveyard. That right there is your set-up. Once you are set up you need two things :
1. No hand (which will be easier with less monsters and cards that discard as a cost)
2. Your trigger (meaning you will need to run cards to get your mirage and gun, which can be directly like sarco or POD, or indirectly, like Archfiend's roar and call of the haunted to let archfiend get them.
-3 Back to square one
-3 lightning vortex
-2 Beetle (who isn't a fiend btw)
-1 fabled Raven
+1 Stygian Street Patrol
+1 Solemn Warning
+2 Infernity Inferno
+1 one for One
+1 Call of the Haunted
+3 Gold Sarcophagus / POD
Agreed, running too many discard cost/effect cards will end up coming back to bite you as getting rid of your hand with a decent Infernity Deck should not be very difficult with less cards and you'll only end up ruining the flow and activation core of the Deck (having no hand)
