How so? Replacement characters are scored as the greater of the two point values, so you can't get any victory point denial out of replacing characters.
You can delay their KO with the starting line reset, but if the opponent manages to KO someone, they will get points for it.
No ####, but if you keep absorbing all the damage and bringing in a fresh body from another verse all the effort could be for nothing. Even if they do manage to ko someone, the value wont be there because say theyve managed to chew thru 3 100 figures, and finally only have one to go and ko it...youd get 100 points. Not remotely reflective of the 400 points worth of effort you put in and couldve gotten, ya dig? You could easily time out and not KO anything because of a well placed rope a dope.
My strategy if I see this on the map...night night Watcher first.

That’s a fair criticism. I misunderstood your previous post.
So glad they made the errata on this Watcher. When this figure was first revealed, I thought it was just a glorified Rare, but now it's definitely worthy of being a Super Rare. For 25 points, not a bad investment to be a decoy for your opponent to try to alpha strike the #### out of.

So, you cannot swap out a character with a duplicate of the same character, but would it work if you were using a character from one of these new starter sets? Swapping in a 101a for a 101b seems to work here, but would you have to have a duplicate of the figure on your sidelines(on the correct starting line) or could you just put the character card on the sideline and just click the figure to the appropriate line? I’m sure it would fall to the judge’s call, but still curious if anyone knows.
The eratta makes him more powerful in some cases, but less powerful in others. It didn't specify starting line before, so with the rules from replacements the new figure would have came in on the same click number. So say you have 70 point Vision on your team, you could have used it to bring in the 50 point Vision Prime, then it could have went to the same click number (click 1). So you essentially turned 70 point Vision into 200 point Prime Vision. Under the new eratta he would stay on the 50 point starting line.
Vison p[rime at 50 point doesn't start on click 1. He starts on click 9.
Clixs keep their number regardless to if they're starting clix or not.
The rules for replacement figures is they come in on the same click number, unless noted otherwise. So without the errata of saying they come in on their starting line you would have brought in 50 point Vision for 70 point Vision. And because 70 point Vision was on click 1 the 50 point Vision would have been turned to click 1.

When an effect causes a character to be replaced:
Replacement characters begin on the same click number as the replaced character unless otherwise stated.
