You know I had the stats to look at all this time but now hearing the misdirection the designers went with this piece & the team ability it just makes me sigh.

I have seen Callisto in that outfit before I posted, and I still say it was a terrible idea to make this version. It's like another bald wet suit wearing Electro. I know it may be the most current version, but it's the wrong one to make into clix form.

Actually the most "current" version of Callisto has tentacles instead of arms thanks once again to Masque. Either way the point is more along the lines of: Why make a Callisto click that represents her for something like 6 issues as opposed to her classic look which represents the other 99.5% of her career?

And then of course there's the gameplay design which goes completely against the concept of her TA which makes you wonder why they even BOTHERED to make a Morlocks TA in the first place considering that besides Callisto there are MAYBE 5 other decent nameable Morlocks (not counting remakes of Storm and Marrow).

Add me into the pile of complainers. Not only did they avoid the better, classic look, they also made a piece with a new TA, once designed for close combat, that 'excels' at... range combat. Add onto that not a single touch of Leadership, and you've got yourself a package deal what makes you go "wha?"

this is from callisto's extra spacial journey with colossus' brother. The first time I saw the suit was in uncanny 325 where callisto came back to stop gene nation. Thank joe madureia for the design, and thank wizkids for giving us a callisto without cce

See what happens when you dont get a new warriors team ability. The only good I see out of this besides wildcards is that we can use the legs to make a robocop, the arm with the gun to make a Vash the Stampede, and the head to make a real Calypso.

Don't recall Callisto ever using a gun either.

Close Combat TA on a Ranged Figure. This is so what we got with the Masters of Evil.

At least the Morlock Generic will PLAY on close Combat swarm teams...

You know, for the leader of the Morlocks, leadership would be nice.. especially since a Morlock theme team is bound not to cost that many pts..

i always exp storm was the leader calisto was the co leader with her because of the conditions of the duel they fought....

well since storm doesn't have the TA (until they remake her again I suppose) I think it's fair to consider calisto the leader. She also lives with the morlocks and more often would have the influence on them (this being why the TA's symbol is her face).

I just think the team could benefit (Assuming they make more morlocks) from a click or two of leadership..

i wonder if the next set after this'll have her crazy snaked armed version for a close range morlock.

I guess that's the theme of Ultimates? Pairing up TAs and abilities that run counter to each other (Callisto, and the U Hulk with Ultimates TA)

At least she's holding her gun in that trendy-but-useless sideways pose.
