Constructed – Restricted (400 points)
No Main Tactics (No Feats / Bystander Tokens / Battlefield Conditions / Special Objects)
Two groups of heroes meet on the battlefield after the Invasion, searching for Skrulls. The Skrulls decide the time is right and reveal themselves from among both groups and begin the attack. The remaining heroes quickly regroup and band together in a makeshift team called for by the dire circumstances.
Just before figures are placed for setup, instead remove all figures from the game. The player going first chooses a character on any team and adds that character to his or her force. If there is an odd number of figures, the final figure is left out of the game.
The player going second chooses to play either SKRULLS or HUMANS. If they choose SKRULLS, all characters they control gain the Skrulls team ability. If they choose HUMANS, all characters they control gain that player’s choice of the Avengers, Fantastic Four, or S.H.I.E.L.D. team ability. The player going first assumes the other role. Ignore all printed team abilities and theme team abilities (including the map roll bonus). At the end of the game, return all figures to their owners.
Skrull Scenario #2
Skrull Accusation!
Constructed – Restricted (400 points)
No Main Tactics (No Feats / Bystander Tokens / Battlefield Conditions / Special Objects)
After a fierce battle, the Avengers discover that the enemy leader, Elektra, is not herself but really a Skrull Imposter! Who else among the heroes and villains has been switched out for Skrulls? Whom can you trust? Can you trust even yourself? With limited information, the heroes have to go by gut instinct in determining who is friend and who is foe.
At the beginning of the game, each player secretly writes down up to half of the characters on their force (rounded up, minimum 1). Those characters are Skrulls; other characters not written down are Humans. During the game, note which character “struck the final blow” and defeated each opposing character. The rule stating, “if only one player has characters left on the board, he is the winner” is suspended. Wins are based solely on victory points. At the end of the game, reveal all Skrulls and determine victory points as follows rather than the normal way:
1) Each Skrull who was defeated by a Skrull, or Human who was defeated by a Human, is worth half as many victory points as normal (round up).
2) Each Skrull who was defeated by a Human, or Human who was defeated by a Skrull, is worth 1.5 times the normal amount of victory points (round up).
Additionally, once per game, a character on your team can use a power action to “accuse” an adjacent opposing character of being a Skrull. Your opponent must tell you whether that character is a Skrull or not. (Don’t lie; you’ll have to reveal them at end of the game anyway!) If not revealed as a Skrull, the accusing character takes 1 click of unavoidable damage. If the character is revealed as a Skrull, the accusing character is healed of 1 damage and the revealed character loses all team abilities, gains the Skrull team ability, and gets -1 to its printed attack and defense values for the rest of the game.
Notes
It is recommended that you write down who is a Skrull on a separate piece of paper, fold it, and place it under the map until the game is over.
For those characters, who through pushing or other damage not from an opponent are defeated, the opposing character that most recently damaged them (or if none did, the nearest opposing character) is considered the one who “struck the final blow.”
Your selection of who you write down as a Skrull can change from round to round in the tournament.
Skrull Scenario #3
We Knocked Out . . . a Skrull?
Constructed – Restricted (300 points), Marvel Only
No Main Tactics (No Feats / Bystander Tokens / Battlefield Conditions / Special Objects)
Note: This scenario does require figures with a specific Team Ability. Those with larger collections are encouraged to ask around at their venues and help out those players with only recent collections who will have a smaller pool to draw upon.
After the Skrull menace has been revealed to the heroes, they further search for a way to determine whom to trust. “ Well, if Elektra changed into a Skrull when she was out of the fight, I’d bet the fastest way to tell is probably to knock all of the rest of you unconscious and see if anyone else changes. I’m not sure it’ll work unless I kill you, but let’s try it anyway.”
Whenever a character you control without the Skrulls team ability on its base is defeated, you may replace that character in the square where they were defeated with a “Substitute Skrull” character you own from outside of the game. This new “Substitute Skrull” character:
Must naturally possess the Skrulls team ability (There are 21 choices from before Secret Invasion, and 12 choices in Secret Invasion, though one is more than 150 points). For the five “hidden” Skrulls in Secret Invasion, you may use only the Skrull version.
Does not have to be legal in the Restricted environment. Your starting force must be from the Restricted environment, but the “Substitute Skrulls” can come from any set.
Can’t be more points than the defeated character it is replacing.
Can’t put you over 150 total points of Substitute Skrulls that have come into a single game.
Does not have to be listed on any team sheets or army sheets, and you do not have to indicate which Skrull character will be substituted in advance, or even show your opponent your pool of Skrulls.
When it comes into the game, each Substitute Skrull must take unavoidable damage equal to a d6 roll modified by X (see below), minimum 1. This roll cannot be rerolled.
X equals:
-4 if Substitute Skrull is 1-25 points (1-2 damage)
-3 if Substitute Skrull is 26-50 points (1-3 damage)
-2 if Substitute Skrull is 51-75 points (1-4 damage)
-1 if Substitute Skrull is 76-100 points (1-5 damage)
0 if Substitute Skrull is 101-125 points (1-6 damage)
+1 if Substitute Skrull is 126-150 points (2-7 damage)
Include all Substitute Skrulls as well as the characters they replaced in counting up victory points. Envoys may choose to extend the time limits for rounds by 10 minutes for this event.
Skrull BONUS Scenario
Skrulls Among Us
Constructed – Unrestricted (200 points), Marvel Only
No Main Tactics (No Feats / Bystander Tokens / Battlefield Conditions / Special Objects)
Note: Because this scenario requires a large collection and focuses on older figures, it is a bonus scenario that envoys can run anytime they like as a venue-supported event if they have enough player interest.
The Savage Land – both teams of Avengers have arrived, only to find a crashed spaceship and ANOTHER team of Avengers. In fact, this new team, seemingly from an older era, claims to be the true Avengers while everyone else has been an imposter for years. How can this be sorted out? Extended Fight Scene, of course!
This scenario should be played on the Crashed Spaceship map if possible.
For each character on your force, you must bring a different version of the same character* with a higher point value. At the beginning of each game, your opponent adds these higher-point value characters to his or her force for this game only.
For the five “hidden” Skrull characters in Secret Invasion, you may add a character with the same name but with an equal point value to your opponent’s force. Both can’t be “hidden” Skrull versions.
For each “pair” of the same character, the first one that is defeated is determined to be a “SKRULL IMPOSTER” and earns bonus victory points as follows:
Defeated Character Point Value Bonus Victory Points
1-40 10
41-80 30
81-120 50
121-160 70
161-200 90
Envoys may choose to extend the time limits for rounds by 10 minutes for this event.
Notes
*Same character – the local envoy is final arbiter of what is “the same character.” They are encouraged to consider things like same REV sequence, same sculpt, and same or similar names as part of their determination. They can rely on their comic book knowledge, or the consensus of their players. Check with them first if you wish to play with questionable figures.
PS - I will be attending the Diamond/Alliance show, any questions or comments you want me to throw at Jake?
if you read this then you lost 10 seconds you'll never get back.

I find scenario #1 unbalanced, and thus, pretty dumb. Let me explain...
Player A brings superman E-2 + minor characters. Player B brings 2 200 point characters.
The first player to pick chooses E-2 supes. (naturally). The second player gets a 200 point character. Player 1 gets the last 200 point character, has a force of 500 + points, and Player 2 has ZERO shot at winning.
What kind of crappy rule is that???
"And I shall make little coins with my head on them and place them in the thongs of your strippers."
The Uber Vegas Style Tournamet
(or The Dave Invitational if he has the guts to play on the road):
500 points
Unrestricted
No BFCs
You need to build 4 teams. You will use a different team each round.
You can only use a figure or feat once during the tournament.
I have to work on saturday nights. I might be able to make that if its a morning tourney... but if everyone wants a late one go for what ever gets the most players.
sounds fun
also for Skrull scenario one. If we agree to build a team that does not break the scenario than it won't be as bad.
For thursday (at least) I suggest requireing a theme team and agree not to build a team that would break the scenario. (for example one person builds a team of "bad" figs sop if they go up against a normal build they would have an advantage in theory) or just build your team like the scenario was not in effect.
the goal of having fun would be the decideing factor and is up to the venue of course. I don't know what fig is the prize but a "money" LE being a prize can bring out the vegas style in people (which is understandable if you really want the prize).
I don't want to play a game of chess where dumb luck or money decides whether or not I get to use a rook... Collectibility is a necessary evil of Heroclix, not a boon.

Don't bring an E-2 Superman. Bring figures that you can do well with, but won't overwhelm you if you have to face them.
One, you are not bringing a team to play with. You are bringing 400pts worth of characters that is half of the draft pool you will build your team from. Therefore, you do not need the synergy or mechanics that is normally needed for a team. The mindset is drafting, and that is how you select the figs you bring.
Because of this, requiring players to bring a theme team does not make sense. You are not playing with what you bring.
Two, I do not think there is a pool of figures you can bring that can "break" this scenario. With the randomness of who drafts first and what figures your opponets selects, you are playing with a vastly different team everytime.
Three, a person who brings E-2 Supes will not win. The odds are he will only draft him half of the time. So, he goes 2-2. That doesn't win.
Four, the venue's do not need to enforce any special house rules for this scenario. Everyone has a hugh figure pool to draw from and there is no way to guarentee a victory with what you bring.
There we go. Five thoughts is the maximum I am allowed in one day. Have to save something for work.
Well hate to say it but there are other Venues in Vegas you can play at. You are more than welcome at Kool's but be prepared to play the Scenario if you do show up.
if you read this then you lost 10 seconds you'll never get back.
Even if its 440 to 380, on team is going to have a significant point advantage over the other team, that cannot be made up with feats or BFC's.
You dont need E-2 supes to break this. Its just the clearest example of why one team will win and one will lose, guaranteed...
DUDE!!!!!!! You want some cheese? Really????????
Already played it. In the general forum (for those who want to be evil because you like the Infinity Gauntlet and dial) I started a thread...couple days old.
If you're worried about the "point cost" being lopsided remember it's unrestricted.
You'll see even though points may be one way.....it most certainly is the exact opposite.
