ben reily- you pulled 4 indebted with just 2 boxes? i dont think i like you sir. lol, just kidding, but i think i only pulled 3 myself with 6 boxes, had to trade for half the spidey rares i have.
high voltage is not in my meta (thank f'ing god now that i know what that is!) i mostly have to put up with insanity, doom, and sentinals. (but i finally got human torch for the sentinals!)
Actually I only pulled 1 Indebted from my 2 boxes. I had aquired a playset before hand on ebay. I am right now looking for the other pieces of the 2 decks I plan on building from Marvel Team-Up, Defenders and Spider-Friends. I planned pn teaming them, but my Brother wants his Defenders solo. I could trade most of the other Syndicate Stuff I got, like Nitro, Carnage, Ravencroft institute and others, so if anyone is interested PM me, as I have a lot.
i got it! what if i run titans of tomorrow as my last 2 plots? it basically grabs me extra sensationals, or a host if i need it. it's also can fuels amazing too
Today, at HL, I faced a high voltage deck with my Puppet Master-based Spidey-clones (posted here earlier). By turn four he had me at 19 life, with an Electric Eve equipped with Advanced Hardware and another 1-drop also with the hardware (I KOed his Black Panther with Flamethrower by running my 3-drop into it, and he just dumped equipment on turn four). After turn five, I only took one point of damage from Eve's evasion.
Fun and Games completely locked his burn down!
I was able to negate his burn through turn six, and eventually finish him off on turn seven. Fun and Games was awesome all night (it beat a defenders deck that wanted to get through the exhaust wall with Nova) but the Voltage match-up convinced me that it's really a must-have for Golden Age.

¿Could you post or link the deck again? This is a 200+ pages post...
do you take odds? if you do, might I suggest adding a mattie franklyn 3? it'd only be for certain situations, but the extra exhaustion effects between dropping her and a puppet master (if you missed him or he died) seem like something to have access to. if they have like no characters in play then yeah cap rocks.

I actually play evens to get the most out of Spectacular Spidey, but the deck does have a plan for odds (Outlaw and Sentry). I did have Mattie in there for a while, but I never liked to play her. My backup 3-drop is Black Cat or Puppet Master (whichever one I didn't play on two) and Aunt May. Actually, if I missed Puppet Master on two and played Cat instead, I would often just play a Puppet Master and Aunt May on three, even if I had the webhead. Puppet Master is just that good. However, this plan makes it hard to fulfill loyalty for Spectacular Spidey, hence the Captain Americas.
ahh right I missed spectacular in the list. I was thinking along the lines of the yapajoco stall deck modified from the first megaweekend last summer that played air walker and crime doctor on turn 5 when dwf turned legal. nevermind.
so, from playtesting it goes like this:
turn 1-aunt may
2-black cat
3-mattie franklin
4-sensational
5-white tiger
6-daredevil
7-amazing
8-cosmic
you obviously want evens tp achive the most success with this plan. however, when you have odds, a back up plan is needed. however, the only strategy i noticed in my deck for this is sentry (now knon as spongbob) as the odds 8-drop. protoge i just drop if i dont have cards in hand. i like the one human torch, but it seems more like tech them a solid odds drop. phill is good as a odds 5 drop, i guess. host is just if i somehow dont get sensational online, or to sub in. cardiac and rico are tech, but mattie seems more of an odds friendly charecter. blade also seems better for even init despite balck cat.
I think Zombie Spider-Man is fairly good. Once I get him in the mail I'll use 2 of him and 3 sensational for my 4 drops. (My deck is a Spider-Clone stall with black cat, ego gem, and new baxter building draw combo)
