For the record, I believe I said HCrealms was turning into the MySpace of HeroClix several months ago, in the last LPC thread and ruffled some feathers. Now it seems, others are comprehending what I was putting down.
Wishing for competitive Judge Dredd figures for Modern Age...WizKids are you listening?!?!
How do you approach retail workers when you need assistance?
I have been:
- approached politely from a distance (I like this)
- approached politely from less of a distance (this is acceptable)
- simply pointed at (???)
- whistled at (will probably actually say something the next time this garbage happens, I'm not a f*cking dog)
- had people simply say the name of what they're looking for and stare at me inquisitively (???)
- straight-up cut off whilst walking before any words are shared (.....)
- gotten the "do you work in this area?" (doesn't matter, we have to know the entire store since you need your hand held)
- and of course the ever classic "do you work here?" (no I'm just really f*cking supportive of this multinational corporation that pays sh*t wages to its front line employees and has heaps of anti-competition practices)

I try and start with an "Excuse me, but I could use some assistance."
That is if I can find someone. At Lowes or Home Depot I will do something to get attention, like using the little barriers to block off isles or something, it usually brings them to me.
I have this song on my playlist, and I've been thinking of removing it. Maybe I've heard it too many times, but when it comes on I wish it was the Hendrix version.
A cool pop song, but nothing I'd really seek to hear again. It is a cool name for a song, though.

Hmmmm. Another very cool song title, but the song was not something I want to hear again.
A classic. It's nice, but I'm not sure it holds up with their other songs. Those guitars are just nasty in the intro, though. It's the chorus where I think it becomes weak.

I think I remember this song. The music has kind of a Beatles vibe to it.

Realistically, based on my musical preferences, I should totally hate this song, but somehow I love it. Might be just because of my love for the movie/character.
I'm not a fan of that movie, but this song is pretty damn good. Of course, it is Eminem.
