There are a few roles that come to mind where someone would not necessarily pick a target N1.

Vigilante, Roleblocker, I've seen Misdirectors not target anyone on N1.

And there is absolutely NO reason to withhold your character, seeing as we already know your power and your targets, and if you were to get Janitored tonight without telling us, that's a name the mafia can use to their advantage.

Well SJ I would say that its pretty well harmless to give up your character at this point. You have admitted to causing a death last night and thought you could have possibly been the one who did it on N2 despite saying you didn't take an action.

If you have some sort of kill power its better to give your character to solidify your town status or you risk everyone becoming very suspicious that you are SK or Mafia. I know you didn't kill anyone N1 but you could very well have lied to me and tried and been blocked so who is to say really.

I already gave my character name: Joan Watson, Elementary.

If SJ is the vigilante, then that means the mafia hitman was blocked from killing N1 and N3.

I blocked Fredwood N1, and failed when targeting him last night, and with how he was acting yesterday, it makes me really suspicious of him.

BTW, this reads as a classic mafia stall to me.
