Karate Kid could not have been legally wed to Timber Wolf, as he was legally wed to Princess Projectra. I presume Orando and Iowa recognize one another as sovereign states.

When our story opens, the Question is investigating an impossible locked-room murder mystery involving a midget and a 6'6"-tall call girl into heavy bondage. Don't worry, I'll explain later. It's all vitally relevant.

There's no legal recognition of fictional places. (And I just don't believe in Iowa. All that corn? Country music? Always votes red? It's just too silly to exist.)
I'm going to guess that TW's dad, Dr. Londo, was a distant member of the Orando royal family, into which Karate Kid had married.
Worth noting that not only did they go blue in the election, they were the first of the primaries to go to Obama.
You can't really use this past election as a yardstick; it was record-breaking in a lot of ways. Even states that usually go red in a big way, McCain only squeaked by. I think he got 55% of the vote in Georgia and 60% in Texas, or maybe the other way around; either way that's very atypical.

So? On Orando, they might be able to legally marry more then one person at a time. Like Saudi Arabia with it's "four wife maximum", only with same-sex marriages included.
Admittedly, it could get confusing. I mean, if you marry a guy and he's married to another guy, does this third guy count as your spouse as well?
KK and T-Wolf were not related, but they were close. What legal relationship did T-Wolf have with Karate Kid? The emphasis in this question is "legal," and as a hint: this relationship did not become evident until after KK's death on Orando.
Very well, and I will fulfill my campaign promise of not asking a Tangent question.
Karate Kid and Timber Wolf are notable in that they both had solo series apart from their LSH runs. Also, both traveled to the 20th/21st century in their books, and had their adventures there. Then. Whatever.

--I loved that story.

Just a guess based on how you worded your question - was he "Executor" of KK's estate?
If not, how about "Beneficiary?"

Tom730 reads into the question and finds the answer. Well done, Tom. Your thread.
Timber Wolf was both executor and beneficiary of Val Armorr's estate. He was required by the will to go to the planet where KK's villainous father learned his martial arts prowess, and fulfill a local legend about "nothing can grow on Lythyl because only the hard and tough can survive there." Wolf and KK's sensei traveled there, planted a seed, and fought most of the population.
--the estate was pretty enormous because it included all of Projectra's and Orando's off-world holdings, as they all left the dimension "forever."

Maybe so, but Val (Karate Kid) got better. Then, he and Duo Damsel got sick and died during Infinite Crisis, with Starman commenting that Val Armorr had died before. Like Ralph Macchio's career.
In the Silver Age that wonderful Golden Ae couple, Sportsmaster and Huntress tangled with a pair of JSA heroes in one issue of a 2 issue "team-up" of these Golden Age heroes -
name the heroes they fought AND the JSA hero they captured prior to their inevitable showdown with the "stars" of the book.
