Why today when it was all rainy I was out of the house, as my youngest had baseball tryouts. The field was near flooded, but that didn't stop them. I was les miserables standing with my feet soaking and watching tons of little kids run through the mud.
Hmmm, nice nap. Actually thinking about changing my name to Rip Van Winkle.
I just caught up with the last four pages of the thread. How is everyone doing?
I'm still doing Friday nights over at Premiere Comics on Durango off 215. Just a collection of extremely casual newbies. David brings his son and nephew, so they always play each other. Both want to play against the adults but their understanding of the game is still too basic. "Hey, he can't see me (ever) because I'm stealthed, right judge?" David plays against me or one of the store staff. We have been playing friendly 300 or 500 pt unrestricted games. Just finished up the last of the AA prize support. Not sure what we'll do for prizes now - probably nothing, but everyone is playing for fun anyway. I do have a few odds-n-ends LEs lying around if I can find them.
Other than that (clix-wise) I have been busy most evenings doing my low impact workouts with my wife on our Wii Fit. As of this morning, I've lost about 10 lbs since January 1. The Wii is fun and has kept us going. So, getting home around 6PM, exercising, watching a little TV and crashing for my 5AM wake up call is my normal regimen.
Today I was going to work in the garage installing metal cabinets, but I am getting from Lowes and this rain has dampened those plans. This leads me full circle to why I'm even on the thread posting this catch up note.
If things are under control. I may try to come out for a visit on 2/21 at LSOM. Bad guys only, huh? Any other restrictions? I saw the post on no HSS, so I presume that applies? What about bad guys that are sometimes good guys? Thinking about Catwoman with Batman TA.
I'll try to get back here a little more frequently that every two months.
Take care!

As far as I know Jim is still running events on Friday nights. If you want to see him, get out of the house and go play and support his tournaments.
...Course it would be nice if he posted the details for us.

Hmm. How many tons? At approximately 100 lbs per kid, I'm estimating there were only 40 to 60 kids? Makes the odds of making the teams fairly high if they were drafting for an entire league.

Yes Villans only. Urestricted, 10% feats, No Neutral Generics and Pogs must be Villans as well. The HSS restriction does not apply to this tourney.
Good to hear from you Jimmy!!! Be even better to see you on 2/21. Oh and yes Cats with Bats symbols are fine for this tourney.

Welcome Back Buddy. Glad to hear things are going good for you. So Nintendo has corrupted, I mean converted, you too huh. Whatever is needy to stay healthy.
I get off work too late on Fridays to attend. I do know Eric is off but there is a transportation issue. Maybe can convice Tim to pick him up and head on over. Yeah, Timmy Free is back in town and up to his same old unemployment tricks. Though this time economy is to blame, not him.

We did it for that one tourney just to allow other things to be played that week. Opened up the figure pool. For the villains tourney it would prevent certain teams from being played. With HSS you can go Brotherhood with Quicksilver or Rogues with Zoom.
From asking around, I do know everyone who owns The Rock (aka Vet BA) won't be playing him. And I'm throwing it out there now, Blondie is not a Villain because she never appeared in a comic as a Skrull.

Clearly all of the kids (except mine) were there to lose weight!
I don't want to play a game of chess where dumb luck or money decides whether or not I get to use a rook... Collectibility is a necessary evil of Heroclix, not a boon.
Damn! I hate waking up from a peaceful sleep just to find a pesky gnat flying around my face. You will taste defeat if I can get that first Imperv roll and get you off that stupid Invincible click!

Next time, Prime, next time.
The only thing saving you from a faster beating was that you got knocked back before my second flurry hit.
Prime fears no one.......
