just a quick question: are the updates in the past pages cumulative? i ask this since it would very tedious to look through 24 pages worth of posts and look at your individual post and see if there is a patch
thanks!
Naw, all updates are cumulative. When you download the complete package, you get the complete package with all the latest.
I make smaller downloads with just the updates to the sets sometimes, for those who tire of the 22Mb download.
Oh, and there's a guy working on an HCOL v2.0

How does one save a custom figure in HCOL? I've got a custom made Lady Death with a custom dial that I would like to use in my games. But, I can't seem to figure out how to save it once I've created the dial.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Once you've created your custom figure, click Save Figure to save it to a file. When entering the filename, remember to add the .bin extension. Then go into your sets.lst file and add the new set file.
Remember also that if your collector number doesn't match the set filename exactly (case sensitive), your custom figure will not save when saving teams. For example, if I have a figure labeled HrC001, the filename must be HrC.bin

Also, don't forget to back up your custom somewhere, because when you update with a new download it will overwrite your entire folder, erasing your customs.

Hi all!
I am pleased to announce yet another HCOL update - DC75th is now completed with the remaining LE figures and special objects based on previews (and some leaks).
Oh yeah, and even MORE new maps too!
Go get it and be up to date!

I joined up to HCOL5 yesterday. 3 people on board. Does anyone still play? I find it more and more difficult to find another player willing to play. Maybe it's just me. I'm on HCOL3, HCOL4, and HCOL5 if anyone wants to put the smackdown on my pathetic heroclix skills. ;

(Interview with Justin Ziran) What plans does WizKids have to extend its brands online in 2011?
Quote
Ziran: We're aggressively moving into the online space and we're well into development on a new HeroClix Online platform that will allow players from around the world to play 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.#The game is currently in testing and will release in 2011.#The platform is targeted at players that are either (1) too busy with life (kids, jobs and family) to attend an in-store event, or (2) don't have a store within driving distance.
Like other online ports of table top games, we believe that HeroClix Online will actually enhance the brand experience and bring back lapsed (or soon to be lapsed) players back into the fold.#
We’ll be releasing screen shots and more information shortly.#I’ll make sure ICV2 is at the top of my distribution list.
Well the cat is out of the bag! I haven't heard from Ziran or anybody about our own little efforts, but the real deal is coming along. The big questions I have are, in order: 1) Will all the figures be available for play (and under what model), 2) Will the game's rules be enforced in some way, and finally 3) Will people actually play the thing?
