Good. When I logged out I had 20 minutes left on my last XP boost potion. The hilarious part about yesterday was that I was alternating between my grad school work and playing. Do a paragraph, do a LQ, do a paragraph, do a LQ. My wife thought it was nuts but I was able to burn through.

Now the question is gears runs or leveling for synergy. +1% crit from Cable would be nice..., but so would pimpy gear.

I'd go for the gear. Almost got Cyke to 60, but if you want to grind out some stuff after that, I'd be game.

Also, I wish I'd quit getting the frakking "Phoenix Force Visor" because (1) it isn't as good as Ruby Quartz Sunglasses and (2) I HAVE THEM ALREADY.

Ah well, First World Problems. I'll probably be on for an hour or so, then I'll be watching the game. Will be online after the game ends, though.

So how rare are costume cores? I logged in this morning, with the intention of grabbing my daily reward and logging off. Of course, I ended up spending 20 minutes in Midtown, where I scored a costume core and a cosmic medallion.

I feel like I see a costume core drop for every 2-3 artifacts I see drop. Lately I've been getting crap ones with no stats except for +20% to rare or special item find.

Played a little this weekend and got Ms. M from 35 to 41. Slow and steady! Going to wait until 50 or so to start eating +exp% potions. I've got some of the 1 hour, 2 hour and stacking types. Probably 20 or so in all.

Costume cores are pretty common once you get past 40 or so, in my experience. If you're looking for a specific one I could probably hook you up.

If you have that many, you can start using some now. It took me 3 and a half of the two-hour XP boosts to go from 51 to 60.

I may try to run a cosmic or two tonight, or at least a Tier 4 red terminal thing on Wanda. Cable and Punisher's lvl 25 synergies rock.

Also, can we just buy a legendary item or do we have to find it as a drop?

Legendary items must be bought in Asgard. Cost is 300 Odin Marks.

But it's worth it.

Also, if you are going to do some cosmic tiers, GET HELP. If not me, find a couple other 60s to go with you.

Prestiged Wanda last night. And really, with her having a fully leveled Warlock's Eye, I got from Level 1 to 17 in about 2 hours (took an XP potion to help, but still!) Made it through to Kingpin's smackdown.

My daily post-shower wake-up routine now includes logging on to claim my Lunar New Year prize and running a Doc Ock terminal mission to try to get a medallion that will give my bazooka even moar boom. It adds, like, ten minutes to my morning prep time, but it's so very worth it.

I think after tinkering a lot with Wanda, I'm going to go with Hex Bolt instead of Chaotic Hex, just because HB is so much better as a basic attack, I don't run into spirit-shortage issues. Makes life a lot simpler.

But yes, prestiging with a fully leveled Legendary makes it SO much faster. MELT ALL THE THINGS!

Are all the rewards different Mal?

For prestiging? If you run through the story again you don't get the items again, but you do get the xp/etc. from story rewards. Mainly I wanted to do it to have a nice green screen name for Wanda. Plus it's SO fast with the leveled Legendary in her inventory.

Seriously, I flattened bosses in about 10 seconds. ZAPZAPZAP oh you're dead Felicia, sorry!

How do you level the legendary item? I need about 30 more marks to purchase it, but what then?

It just gets xp when you do, takes a while though. But even if you are 60, it keeps getting xp.
