The smurfs are a wicked tool. In two turns, they can crush a car and cripple a spectator. With one move, you can only stop one. Team Evil needs something we can do to penalize them. Aside from burying them under a blue wave.

Yep, your right. I should have looked this up before doing that move. I did that rush move on my lunchbreak. Can't be bothered trying to find other smurfs to move (back at work now), so just give them a DPA.

Aw man!! Critical Hit against Green Arrow with a Smurf! I had pondered KOing that Smurf with Flash last turn, but figured since he only had a 4 AV now, he wasn't really a concern. D'oh!

My thoughts on the game structure-

A lot of dumb mistakes were made in allowing DM to get the book, and by multiple players. As for me, I saw the problem with Moondragon and I figured that clix would take it up near Moon Knight, which is why a put a Smurf in F33 to block her LOS.

50 points is a heck of a lot of points for the book. I think 40 or even 30 would've been fine. The flaw in your logic ALC is that the team with the book will also likely have KOed a few Smurfs as well (which they have), bumping their score even higher.

As to the relative safety of the civilians inside the bank....well, yes they were quite safe in there, but they've also been a royal pain to extract, and it'll still take me quite a few moves to get them home. With Smurf's swarming outside, it isn't going to be easy (especially now that GA has been injured).

I like the fact that each player has been able to control the Smurfs. And the ongoing willpower has made them far more dangerous than Moloids, which is a very good thing since they are worth 2 points a piece.

Finally, I agree with Richard about not ending this game yet. If DM sacrifices his Venom, he'll be quite underpowered, and if the rest of us take out his remaining players quickly (sorry DM ) he won't be able to accrue any more points than he already has.

oops...i did my move as a rush job after hurrying from work, where i ended up having to stay too long. misread the map and the locales of the smurfs.....

Blinking painfully, Green Arrow looked down at the blood pouring out of his groin. He pulled the arrow shard out, wincing in agony. He suddenly became very angry.

"Those little guys are going to pay for that. If I find out that there's any permanent damage down there, I'm going to hunt every last one of them down until they are extinct!" He limped across to the Manhole, drawing an arrow and pointing it at the cover.

Inside the bank, Hezekiah climbed up onto the rubble and held out his hand to help the Bank Teller up next to him.
"Come along now missy."

The teller smiled. "You are such a sweetie aren't you."

Trying not to think about the long term consequences of fobbing the teller off onto the old dude, Plastic Man went to the teller window and spotted Flash standing outside. "Hey Flash! Watch this!" He said as he started doing massive blowfishes on the glass.

Flash cringed in horror at the inside of Plastic Man's ginormous mouth.

Richard - Green Arrow took 2 damage and was knocked back to O8, not P8. Also the Smurf that attacked Atom was (I assume) the one in W47, not W3.

Glorfindel - The group attack only works on objects and blocking terrain, (its a type of object right?). Check page 1 post 2 second paragraph of the Scenario Rules/Special Items:

"The Smurfs can damage objects by adding their damage. Example if Smurfs 1,2, and 3 attack a car they add their damage together to do 3 damage. This does NOT work against characters. (Otherwise it would be too powerful.)"

I was bummed also, because I wanted to do the same thing.

You guys did misunderstand me on whether to continue. As long as there are Smurfs to smash I intend to keep the game going. If we continue after that will be up to us when we reach that point.

Average Smurf laughed loudly. "You really don't get it do you. Being tricky isn't neccessarily smurfier." With that, Average gave Jenny a quick jab to the knee cap, causing her to howl out in pain.

Down on the ground, Hairy Smurf spotted the bald woman smirking to herself about her success. He really didn't like hairless things, and hairless women were even more bothersome. Sneaking up behind her, he pounced at her and bit her thigh.

Felicias eyes were heavy as she heard a voice inside her mind say run to the top of the roof...NOW, before Teth-Adam comes and without thinking she fired her cat line across the street and followed it up on top the brownstone holding the heavy book.

when she got there she saw Spiderman, in his Black costume, {how did...} her thought wandered for a second before the voice said again quickly give the book to spiderman so he can take it to Dr Strange {of course} she thought...{Strange would know what to do with it} "Peter...take this thing"

Venom looked at the shapely ex-thief and licked his lips...around the back of his head.... and said in his best mimicry of Parkers voice.."Yes Cat give it to me"

as he snatched the book from her hnds and spun and jumped to the top of a nearby chimney...Felicias head cleared and she stumbled backward........
