Captain Crunch FTW.

I enjoy cereal as a dessert. Got the idea from a family I overheard in Target, they counted a sugary cereal as a dessert for their kids. Makes sense and I adopted it myself. My favorite mix is 1/3 cinnamon toast crunch 2/3 Raisin Bran. Tastes like some awesome dessert crumble, if it was possible to replace to raisins with blueberries it would be perfect.

Holy crap. Blueberry Cheerios?! I need to go to the store...

There are several flavors available, I like the chocolate, but last time at the store could only find it in the file cabinet size and it would not fit into the pantry.

Flavors I know I have tried:

• Multigrain - Good, we buy this instead of the old standard Cheerios and use it as a base to mix other flavors with often
• Apple Cinnamon - Ok, not great
• Fruity - Good, think Fruit Loops with much less sugar
• Chocolate - My favorite
• Oat Crunch - Good
• Very Berry - Mix of blueberry and strawberry harder to find but good, kids love it
• Strawberry - Good, hard to find
• Chocolate Strawberry - a favorite but was a limited edition and have not seen it in a while.

Flavors I remember seeing but have not bought:

• Peach - Did not buy due to huge box size, have not seen it in a long time.
• Frosted - Have not bought, trying to limit sugar when possible and this seems like it may be too good
• Pumpkin spice - Not my thing one of those fall specials

There are several flavors involving Nuts and Coconut that allergies prevent us from trying.

I prefer sans Crunch Berries but will eat them.

Just a few days ago. I bought a big bag of the Malt o'Meal Crunch Berries knock offs and a box of store brand granola cereal.


I like me some Cheerios too. Honey Nut are in our pantry right now, and a few years ago there was some combo kind of Cheerios that had like 3 different types and one of those was powdered/frosted...I want to say it was an Olympic type theme? I've seen the Chocolate ones and the Cinnamon Apple ones.


Interesting personal story. One of the few local dudes that I am friends with was hosting a get together Saturday night at his (and his wife's) house. I got a text from the wife saying they had to cancel, and I PMed back to see if everything was okay because no reason was given.
The dude was arrested by a large federal agent contingent a couple weeks ago, for "something incredibly dumb and bad he did years and years ago" according to her, and it took him a week or more to get released on bond. I didn't ask any more than that, but I was stunned. I'm tempted to inquire with a couple of my old military police coworkers who still serve in federal law enforcement to see what is up, but my overwhelming urge right now is to to stay ignorant of the whole thing until he tells me, or someone contacts me. It's a guy I've literally got drunk with a dozen times or more and smoked a few great cigars, and I've never picked up any vibe of felon offender.
Damn.

Hell yes. I can dig some solid punk music. It does kinda make me laugh though what some folks are hating on it for. I mean, punk music is supposed to be loud and aggressive and in your face. Did these same folks even listen to how the Sex Pistols sounded at the start?
