So let's talk about cartoons. I was watching Sgt. Bilko on MeTV and I remembered how similar Top Cat seemed to be to that show. I know that the Flintstones was a very obvious rip off of the Honeymooners.

Some say Top Cat was a take on the Eastside Kids but I think Top Cat was definitely meant to be a cartoon Sgt. Bilko. They even killed the show Top Cat when Maurice Gosfield died and replaced it with the Jetsons because they couldn't find a voice actor to fill his shoes.
