I think I may have missed some sort of new article that went with this.

In other news, I played Werewolf for the first time in real life at a board game party this weekend. I thought I was not that great at this game yet, but I was analyzing the game so that I knew who everyone was pretty much after night one. I started dying night one every time. I was much better then all but one person there. I guess I just compare myself to you guys on here, but I am actually not that bad, compared to the average gamer.
I think I'd be terrible at Mafia in person. I have an awful poker face.

Oddly enough, this is totally true.

I don't know. I actually word my CMD's as "Target players A&B. You will misdirect player A into player B." That way, it's obvious what sort of result a tracker would get.

I have a great poker face in poker (or rather, I know how to create a perception using my body language and expressions and intentionally do so), but I have an awful mafia poker face.

I'm thinking of rewording mine: you target person A, who will then target any person B of your choosing.

Telepath is a weird example. Think instead of a simple interaction:Tom comes up to Bill and tells Bill, "Joe just took your wallet." Bill steams off to go after Joe.
Who did Tom interact with? Bill. Did Tom interact with Joe? No.
Past Season 6. I have a new favorite character to dislike (besides Jake Sisko). Ezri Dax is just a waste of material. Good thing that she won't be in the game...

Targeting and choosing are the same thing. A rose by any other name...
All of this CMD stuff becomes a lot simpler if everyone accepts the simple common sense principle that whomever a person submits to the mod via their PM as the recepient(s) of their power, is/are their target(s). Did the CMDer submit two names to the mod? Yes? So how many people did he target? Two. This is just like teaching a 4 year old math...

I got sick. By the time I got home from work I was exhausted, so I didn't work on anything. People stopped sending in actions, and that always discourages me. (Even right now, I have actions only from a slim majority). This includes some actions that would be highly beneficial to the town.
At least two people who have asked about the game (either through PMs, through this thread, or in other game threads) failed to provide an action. Normally when I get discouraged while running a game its for this reason: if the players don't care enough to play, I have a hard time convincing myself to work on it either. This game was especially work-heavy, as I wrote a LOT in each write-up. I am trying to get back into creative writing, and I was using this as a transition.
Now that I am feeling better, I am having a hard time restarting it.

To offset Obamacare, some restaurants are charging a surcharge (1%-3%) that is to go towards their workers' healthcare, rather than raising menu prices, or making all their workers part-time.

Sure, you're point of view makes sense form a purely online/message board view. But in a theme game, I - as a mod - treat whats going on as real to a "story" as possible.
Say I have a Control Misdirector, Purple Man, who goes up to Jessica Jones, and tells her to attack Scarlet Witch, who's a mile away. A Tracker, Black Widow, sees Purple Man talking to Jessica, from afar. Tracker sees the interaction, but can't hear what's being said (we'll ignore the fact that BW would know Purple Man is evil).
I also like to include logical "hiccups". So if Purple Man tried to Control MD a deaf character... say, Echo (she's deaf, right?), I would make it Fail since they couldn't hear it, even if I had forgotten to include that as a "spoiler" bit.
But I think we've established numerous times (Infinity Gauntlet and X-Cutioner's Song spring to mind) that I get way too attached to the "story" aspect sometimes...
