Dr Doom isnt TOO bad for his points - wildcard also.

And with the feat card Nova Blast this will make him quite deadly, especially with 11 attack.

Yeowch. What’s with the Clobberin’ Time remakes for the Doctors coming out inferior to the originals? First I suppose the Running Shot/Pulse Wave combo could be nice, but his mid-dial’s got a very definitive lull. In an unrestricted tourney, I’d rather pay the extra 12 points for the old Vet. Better starting AV, better defense, longer range, and higher damage potential, plus Mastermind and flight. And mid-dial Invulnerability/Toughness with dual-target EE/Incap is probably going to work better than Poison/Willpower, especially considering the point cost.

Why is Vet Sub mariner an Avenger? Is he in the New Invaders and they are mixing them in the Avengers TA too?
