'If one want's something done right..." Sinestro began. He scooped up Hourman away from Owlman and flew out into the yard. "Make yourself useful," he told Hourman, plopping him down in the midst of the opposition. Meanwhile he created a giant nutcracker with his ring and grabbed War Machine with it. It took down several of the armor's systems, but did no permanent harm to the man inside.
"Gotcha now," Havok said coming around the corner, but War Machine managed to avoid the attack. The gigantic Validus charged forward with a bellowing roar and pounded on War Machine's armor, but still he withstood the attacks.
Hourman on Nick Fury, AV8 on DV17, needs a big 9. Gets a very small 5.
Sinestro Outwits War Machine's Invulnerable and pushes to attack him. AV11 on DV18. Needs 7, gets 10. 4 to War Machine. And he's still a dangerous piece.

"My Miraclo enhanced strength will teach you a lesson," Hourman said.
"You've got to hit me first, big guy," Nick Fury replied, "and with the combat training I've had, that's not bloody likely." And indeed, Hourman's attempts to hit Fury proved as futile as Fury predicted.
"You've been lucky, War Machine," Sinestro snarled, "but against me, your luck has run out." He created a spear with his ring which shot forth at Rhodes. War Machine's armor blunted the blow, preventing it from being a fatal strike, but several more of his systems failed.
Don't be mad but you forgot to reroll for Vixen as I'd stated in the last post. Reroll is a 6...before we go further just wanna make sure we're on the same page...Sinestro and Vixen each take 1 for pushing, War Machine...nada...
Actually, Owlman's CSA TA is the same as PC. He'd need LOF to Sinestro to activate it and with Owlman in I10, War Machine in H10 and Sinestro in F10, War Machine completely cuts off his LOF. PC isn't an option for this attack. On the bright side, that leaves Vixen unharmed
Argh. Did not know that, it makes sense but I thought "wow what a truly interesting way to use pc". I mean all it does say is a 'friendly character' gets the token but I'll go by your word, o interpreter of rules. (Probably would've give it to Swordsman if I'd understood the rules correctly).
War Machine vs. Hourman. Needs 5, rolls 8. No pc needed, Hourman is down.
"En garde," the Swordsman says, riding a telepathic push by Jean as he jumps the X-Man Havok. His sword swings wildly and with precision but Havok rolls with it pushed by a sudden burst of adrenaline.
"Sorry Avenger, I guess you'll have to work harder for it than that," Havok says catching his breath.
The Swordsman twirls his weapon in a fine display on showmanship, "Then work harder I shall," he says in an Errol Flynn kind of tone.
Validus on War Machine AV9 on DV16, needs 7. Gets 7. Rerolling for Owlman - not sure who you wanted to give the token to, but you've got options. Reroll is still 7. Only 1 to War Machine after Toughness though.
Havok on Swordsman. AV10 on DV17. Gets 3.
Misty attacks Owlman, AV8 on DV17. Another 3.

Validus launched into an attack on War Machine, but War Machine's armor still had enough oomph to stand up to it, mostly.
"Can't we stop this thing?" War Machine complained.
"Working on it," Owlman snapped, at the same time deflecting an attack from Misty Knight.
"Let's see, you've got a pointy stick," Havok said, "and I control superheated plasma bursts. I know who my money's on in this fight." He blasted the Swordsman, but the Swordsman wasn't there.
"You don't last long fighting with 'pointy sticks' if you don't learn to avoid your opponent's thrust," Swordsman retorted.
First things first. Vixen gets the token for your reroll.
Mysterio vs. Sinestro. Needs 9, rolls 8. So close. He'll outwit his rce.
Nick Fury vs. Sinestro. Needs 8, rolls 5. Of course he does.
Owlman vs. Validus. Needs 4, rolls 3. Wow...don't dare try a reroll on another. I'll save a pc reroll for Vixen your next turn, if applicable against someone without protected.
Swordsman has to push against Havok. Needs 7, rolls 9. Finally!. Havok gets 4.

Pressing Havok, the Swordsman finally pushes him away long enough for a ray blast from his sword sending Havok back into the ground. "How are we doing, chums?", he asks as he turns his back to his teammates.
Attacks on Validus go awry and Owlman's attempt at Validus only angers him.
"Oh," he laughs, "Could be better, you say. I see."
