Well, who cares that the heirs got the rights to Superboy back. They can still make a clone of Conner, then the clone will feel bad about taking Conner's place. He changes his identity to Chris Kent or something, and doesn't call himself Superboy. Then when the character of Superboy goes into the public domain (which if I uderstand the laws correctly, will happen soon since the original creator has died) they can call him Superboy again. There, problem solved.
This hippie died for me and while I’m glad it doesn’t mean that I’m going to accept every word that you say, its the installment of shame that makes you a pawn in the game and that’s not my definition of faith.-Balance
I hope Connor comes back. I could care less if he was Superboy or not, just the character back. I'm not sure if there is a difference, legally if he comes back with the Superboy name or not, maybe a lawyer can share with us if there is one.
even if they clone Conner, he won't be the same character. I'm not talking about the legal mess, I just mean, it'd be like Ben Reily was compared to Peter Parker, same genes, different person in many ways.
I have to say that I do miss Conner. I thought he went from a cra-ppy character and evolved into more of a fleshed out superhero. Its because I feel such a loss of this character, that I think it would be a mistake to bring him back. I understand the fanboys wanting him to return (who doesnt want a recently lost loved one to come back?), it cheapens his death and his sacrafice to have him return.

You keep saying this. What has happened to superboy in DC has noithing to do with the clone sage in Marvel. The only thing the same is the fact that the both deal with a clone, thats it.
They can bring back Connor as the same person, he was touching the crystal which downloaded all of his memories, Raven knows about his soul and Tim is working on the body. It's a trinity that fits altogether and can bring back Connor the way he was. It worked for Green Arrow and he is the same person now as he was befor he died.

Err, Green Arrow had very powerful help in making his comeback (to life) . With Parrallax recreating his body and his mind, using a few scant cells on Superman's cape (something you're never suppose to tug on), PLUS, the Specter (both being Hal) who had to convince Queen's soul to return to the new body.
I just doubt it's gonna be as simple as you think.
And remember, magic has changed and Raven's power's don't work right anymore.
Oh, and I wasn't saying the story was like Marvel's clone saga. What I mean is the clone of Pete was different then he was, and, matter of fact, the clone of Superboy that was already out there is different then the clone known as Conner.

Thats because he was enhanced to be a "better" Superboy but i do get what your saying. I'm saying that they CAN bring back Connor and not just a clone of him, if DC wanted too.
I don't think it matters on how powerful the person is but how the person(s) did do it. Raven might have the same powers or not, there is someone in the DC U that can deal with souls. I can be simple, it just depends on the writer.
